Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at Coghlan's large packing cube. If you are looking for a way to quickly and conveniently organize some clothing in a larger piece of luggage, this might be the solution for you. This packing cube is made out of gray ripstop nylon that is not only light, but is also very sturdy as well. And as you can see, it has a front breathable mesh cover, and it has a nice handle on here used for either carrying or hanging, now that is sewn into the nylon fabric that is nice and secure, so I don't think you have to worry about that ripping out.

And let's take a closer look at it just so I kind of give you an idea of what this can help you with. If you're looking to carry items such as socks or other items to kind of keep it separate from other items or articles of clothing in your luggage, this is a convenient way to fill this packing cube up and be able to conveniently take it out of your luggage, so you have easy access to it. And for instance, this can be expanded with this panel here. So I'm just going to go ahead and unzip this and that is going to expand this to double its size. And I have a coat here and I'm just gonna put in here.

And what I could see using this for, is if you are traveling to a cooler climate and you want to have easy access to a coat or to a sweater. You can get into your bigger piece of luggage and conveniently pull this out and you have your coat in there, you have a sweater in there. And you don't have to go routing through your luggage to find it. So that's a pretty handy way that this can be used. And while we have it expanded here, let me go ahead and give you an idea of just how tall that would be.

You do gain, let's see here, when this is fully expanded you're sitting at about six inches of space here that can be used. Six inches deep. And when you then close it down, this becomes easily more compact. I will mention that I do typically on a zipper like this, keep my thumb behind the zipper, just so it does not get caught on the nylon behind it, and then be able to zip that smoothly around to close. And while we have this closed, let me see, we're sitting at about three there inches deep.

So you virtually double your space when you open up that panel and that will give you more room to expand and put other items in there that are, either more items or items that are a little more bulky. The main zipper here has these nice orange pull tabs for ease of use, and of course, visibility as well. And it's a double zipper. Double pulls on these zippers. So that is very nice as well. Again, this front panel is mesh and that'll be nice for breathability. And especially if you might put some damp items in there, you don't have to worry about it becoming musty, it would be able to air out real nice with this panel. Let's get some other measurements while we're here. And considering the length, including the handle, when it is completely collapsed and we have nothing in there, we are sitting at about 17 inches, 17 inches long. And with its width, we are looking at about. about 11 inches acrossed. Now, if you are looking for smaller packing cubes, may I recommend Coghlan's medium and small packing cubes.
