Note: The Invis-A-Rack can't be used with accessories that mount in your truck's stake pockets or on your truck bed side rails. Certain tonneau covers, toolboxes, and bed rail caps will not be compatible with this ladder rack.
It's the Houdini of ladder racks. The Invis-A-Rack is there when you need it and virtually invisible when you don't. The rack simply folds away in seconds. Be a professional by day and a civilian on date night.
To use the rack, raise the 2 main vertical support bars at the cab end, and then unfold the horizontal connecting arms.
Connect the horizontal arms, or crossbars, using the pull-out section stored inside the bar.
Repeat these steps with the supports at the tailgate end. In minutes, you'll have a sturdy ladder rack to support your cargo.
The Invis-A-Rack can be folded down when you want it out of the way. The uprights for the ladder rack fold at the hinges and store inside the built-in bed rail cases.
This erector-set-like versatility makes it easy to adjust the rack on the go. You can fold down just the tailgate-end rack supports to make it easier to load your truck bed, and then put them back up to strap a load onto the rack. This is also a great system if you need a ladder rack but still want to use your fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch for towing. Just fold down the rear uprights, and you can easily hook up your trailer. Worried about clearance while turning? Fold down the section of rack near the cab as well to give your trailer all the room it needs.
The black storage cases complement your vehicle's trim and allow your ladder rack to virtually disappear into the truck bed rails when stored.
No one wants to think about work during their time off. With the Invis-A-Rack, it takes just moments to leave your workday behind when you head out for a night on the town. Simply fold down the rack and store it away.
When raised, this pop-up rack lets you transport ladders, lumber, and other long equipment to your job site.
Or you can take the day off and strap on a kayak, canoe, or hunting equipment using special mounting accessories (sold separately). With a 500-lb capacity, this rack hauls plenty of gear for work or play.
Ladder racks are great when you need to haul your equipment, but they're not so great when they sit unused on your truck, acting as a bulky windbreak that costs you at the gas pump. But the Invis-A-Rack stores quickly when you don't need it, so it reduces the added fuel cost that comes from carrying a permanently raised ladder rack. And because it is constructed of lightweight aluminum, this sturdy rack boosts your hauling ability without adding a lot of gas-sucking weight to your truck.
Installing the rack is as simple as using it. Attach the included 1/8" thick foam strips to the bottom of each storage case to provide a cushion between the storage units and your truck bed rails. Then mount the storage boxes to your vehicle's bed rails with the 8 included heavy-duty clamps. One person can install the rack in about 10 minutes. An Invis-A-Rack makes your life easier from start to finish.

This ladder rack is there when you need it and out of the way when you don't. The rustproof aluminum rack hauls long loads and then folds down for storage on your truck bed side rails. Great if you use a fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch.Great product. I use it to haul kayaks and lumber. It's surprisingly strong and sturdy. I put 300 lbs of lumber on it and never heard so much as a squeak. Installation was straightforward. I'll definitely buy another one for my next truck.
So far, so good. It arrived on time. The only things broken were two of the plastic "insert" pieces that go between the rails, but thankfully I only have a 5 1/2' bed, so I didn't really need them. I had it installed by the mechanics I was taking my truck to for other work and they said it installed pretty easily and one of the mechanics is going to get one for his own personal truck. We practiced setting it up and taking it down before I left. I can definitely do this on my own. I absolutely LOVE this product. I didn't want something that "whistled in the wind" or created drag every day even when I wasn't hauling the kayaks, so this is perfect. Thank you!
This Rack is Awesome, loaded a bunch of 16'x7" board's from the lumber yard. And it didn't squeak, Rattle or flex around one bit. As if they were not even up there. Very pleased with it!
Very pleased. Exactly what we expected. Only issue is the driver side back plate that is glued on came off and is gone.
I love that I don’t have to find a place in my garage to store this rack, and remove and replace it with each use. It’s fairly easy to load and tie down my canoe single-handed. The loaded rack is quiet and feels secure at highway speeds and on rough roads. Set up and take-down is quick and easy, and the bed-rail look is unobtrusive. The product has met my expectations in every way. Thanks.
The direct shipment was boxed much more carefully and did not appear to have any shipping and handling damage like the previous delivery.
It is very unfortunate though, that at this price point, the product requires so much hand tuning to make work.
I realize now upon further inspection that the "in use" pictures show the black mounting hardware and the factory pictures show the unpainted bare aluminum hardware..... So all the mounting hardware had to be painted black to match the rack.
Again, half of the plastic in place arrived broken.
The keyhole slots in which the plastic end/joining plates insert into were not milled or formed correctly on any of the four pieces of the folding rack, all had to be hand tooled to fit and then repainted.
The product is advertised as black powder coated, but not only is the interior but also parts of the exterior are not fully powder coated.
Lastly there are nicks and dings on the exterior casing of the rack.
So all in all... After two shipments and $xxx I guess this is simply the level of quality we get.... It's unfortunate and I'm unpleased with the product in general. I need this product though at the moment, so it is now installed.
Super product! Well constructed, sturdy, and easy to put together/install. Looking forward to receiving/using my other etrailer purchases and future sourcing from them.
1 year and still love it. Quality product
