Recommended Kayak Carrier for Use with DeeZee Invis-A-Rack on 2017 Ford F-150

Question:

My husband and I do a lot of camping and storage with our kayaks has become cumbersome. I wanted something that was foldable, and this product looks perfect. I have a 2017 F-150 Lariat, and want to be able to transport 2 kayaks on this rack. Will the DZ951550 work? Do we need to also purchase additional accessories specific to kayak transport?

You can carry two kayaks on the DeeZee # DZ951550, but there aren't specific carriers that are designed to fit on the crossbars on this ladder rack. You could load the kayaks on the bars without anything on them, but the Malone Deluxe Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs - Foam Block Style - 18" Long # MPG152 would be a great choice to add some protection and keep the boats from getting scratched up. The Malone kit comes with tie downs included, so it would have everything you need to secure the boats as well.

You'd likely want to modify the interior cutout on the foam blocks to create a bit better fit, but they will work.
