Bestop Upper Door Sliders are a factory-original lower steel door application featuring a pair of two-way sliding glass windows that make all those trips to the drive-through easier. The windows slide forward or backward on their tracks, clicking shut with one hand and securing with toggle latches.
The windows are constructed of thermally insulated, DOT-approved, tempered glass. Panes reduce road noise and also increase ventilation to the cab when opened.
The windows are mounted on a rugged steel frame, surrounded by fabric and edged by double-bulb weather stripping that surrounds the channels to keep out ice, snow, dirt and debris. The weather stripping also provides a tight seal with the vehicle soft top, further insulating the interior from the elements.
Upper Door Sliders attach easily to lower steel doors with door pins and adjustable collars, ensuring a snug fit to the factory door.
Kit includes passenger- and driver-side Upper Door Sliders. Fabric is designed to match Bestop soft tops and factory-original top colors.

Welcome back neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Bestop Upper Door Sliders for your Jeep Wrangler or Wrangler Unlimited. So again, these are a custom fit application. I'm gonna go ahead and pop that over here by my left shoulder. These again fit a 1997 through 2006 Jeep Wrangler or the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Always check etrailer's fit guide in the center of our homepage.
Put in your year, make and model, and make sure you're getting the right application the first time. Now you will get two of these beautiful doors with your purchase. I'm gonna sit one of these down on the ground here so I can showcase the other one for you. So again, you're gonna get this nice upper door assembly. It will fit into your factory original lower steel door.
It does come with a nice dual way sliding glass panels. And these panels are constructed of thermal insulated. They've been DOT approved, it's a very nice tempered glass. You don't have to worry about 'em breaking, cracking, that kind of stuff. The panels and the panes rather, they're gonna reduce wind noise and they're just gonna increase the ventilation to your cab.
You can open 'em both ways. I think that's pretty neat myself, not many doors out there you can slide both ways. So if you're going through drive through or whatnot, now you can have a sliding window to easily get in and out. Maybe you get your buddy in your lap or something and he wants to put his head out the window or something. Your nice pet, that'll work out for them as well.
Now they does have very nice toggle latches on here. Let me spin this around and I will get you a closeup of that as well. So here's one side, nice toggle latch. You simply push on that with your thumb or fingers or whatnot. You can simply easily slide that glass open and then to close it, you simply pull on that latch until it clicks close. There you go. And you don't have to push it like I do if you don't want to. You can just open that to latch it. And the other side here, same application. Simply push that button there. That'll allow it to open. And then the same thing on the reverse, just close it. Nice click close. It's got nice steel rods. Those are gonna slide into the lower door assembly like I was mentioning. The fabric is a very nice black diamond fabric they call it. And if you've got Bestop stuff before, you've seen this kind of fabric, it is designed to be compatible with the factory top and all Bestop tops out there. You do get a nice one year warranty with this product. Now again, it's got a rugged steel frame, a nice heavy duty, nice molded hard black plastic on the front here all the way around on both sides holding that window pane in place. It's got a nice thick rubber seal for the door and that's gonna make sure that everything's sealed up for winter, rain, that kind of stuff. So again, you will get a driver and a passenger side door with your purchase. Let me get that other guy back up here, again, very nice kit, again, I love the fact you can open both sides. I bought these to replace the zippered vinyl windows that came with the jeep. They are a direct replacement. They fit tight and I had to work to get them in, but once installed, they sealed tightly and greatly reduced wind noise when driving on the highway.
Received product within 3 days of order. Sliders fit perfectly in each door. Had plastic windows which even when replaced I had difficulty seeing out of especially at night. With glass sliders visibility has greatly improved. They also look great on the Jeep!
These were ok for a while, now after a year the seals have not held up very well. My seatbelt had tapped one of the Windows and it now has a slight crack, I do not feel these were made with the best quality for the price.

They don't fit the top well. One has extra seal material in front and a lack of material in the back and the other is the opposite a gap in front and extra out the back.
Fast shipping, about 10 percent cheaper than competitors I would recommend these for cooler months, these do cut down the airflow significantly but are still great additions.
Ever since I purchased my second (third?) hand 1992 Jeep I have cursed the zip-up vinyl windows. I have cursed the guy who initially purchased the rig. I have cursed the Jeep dealership that sold it with the zip-up windows. I finally had enough and searched for replacements. By a few dollars etrailer.com offered the best price and they offered free shipping. The replacements arrived within 3 days of the order.
I'm not a READ THE DIRECTIONS kind of guy and I got a little frustrated removing the old units. So I pulled out the directions. Oh...I have to unfold the bottom lip and pull it away from the seam. The old ones popped right out and the new ones dropped right in. Even an idiot like me could do it.
I am no longer cursing the Jeep every time I drive it. I just wish that these units were factory standard 20 years ago.

Received the upper door sliders for my '05 Jeep Wrangler on time and they installed with no problem. They fit well, open and close smoothly and have eliminated a good deal of noise.
perfect fit on my jeep wrangler. had zipper windows and these will be great for winter months. The price was lower than anything else I found. The shipping was so fast they almost got here before I ordered them! OK kidding, but shipping was free and only took 3 days to get here. Also communication was top-notch.
