What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this heavy duty linchpin from Redline. The reason why you'd get one of these linchpins is maybe you're replacing one on your trailer that was existing. You see this one's a little worn out. It's even bent here and it doesn't quite snap like it's supposed to. It just moves up and down, stays in place.

So something could come loose that way. Right now on this flatbed Big Tex Trailer, you got this arm that needs to be pinned in. You don't want this loose when you're going down the road. So this is where the linchpin's gonna come in handy. So we'll just bring the loop up here, run that through, snap it down to place.

And now that's not going anywhere. This linchpin's gonna be made of hot drawn spring steel. It's gonna have a zinc coating on it as well, so you can leave it on the trailer and not worry about the elements rusting or corroding it. Looking at the pin portion, its diameter's gonna be seven sixteenths of an inch, so make sure you measure where you wanna use it on your trailer so that matches up. And then as far as the length goes, it's gonna be an inch and three quarters long.

Overall, I think this is gonna be good to replace any bent or old snapper pins, especially if they don't snap like they once did. You wanna make sure that whatever you're pinning down stays in place, and these are pretty easy to replace too, so it's not that big a deal. Well, I think that does it.
