Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the U. S. Army Trailer Hitch Cover. This is going to slide into your hitch receiver and it's going to help keep any dirt and debris out of your receiver tube opening. And it's also going to help deter, any rust or corrosion inside that receiver tube.

So it's going to be much easier to slide in and out any of your hitch mount accessories, like your ball, mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier.You can see the front of it does display the officially licensed U.S. Army logo. That is laser etched onto our textured matte black face plate here. So it's going to be very easy to read that steel is going to shine through and be reflective and just very striking against that black background. It does have a durable rust-proof stainless steel sleeve and base.This will work with your two inch by two inch receiver tube openings.

And our overall dimensions here we're right about four and a quarter of an inch wide and four and a quarter inches tall. Our pin hole depth, going to be from center to center it's about one in five eights of an inch out to about two and five eight of an inch. So make sure that that's going to work for your receiver tubes.This will accept a standard five eight inch hitch pin. The hitch pin is not included with this. It's just going to come with the hitch cover, but we do have lots of different options here at etrailer.com.

If you need a hitch pin, but you probably already have one. What we do have that I would suggest getting, if you don't already have one is a locking pin. So it would make sure that this was not stolen. It would help deter theft, and it would be good for any of your other hitch mounted accessories to make sure that those two are going to stay with your vehicle and not wander off when you're not around.This is made here in the U.S.A., so you can trust it's got quality materials and workmanship, and it's also comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
