Today we're going to be taking a look at the US Army of One 2-inch hitch cover from AMG 00:00:05. This hitch cover's going to lie 00:00:07 in the display, the official Army of One logo and add a clean finish look to your vehicle. It's going to help keep dirt and grime out of your hitch. The hitch cover's going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish all the way around. It's going to offer great resistance for rust and corrosion.
Here on the front we're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem. That's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design and it's American-made. On the back side we're going to have a foam gasket that's going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. The hitch cover does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to get it fully secured to the hitch. Those items are sold separately so if you need one, you can find them right here at etrailer.com.
The pin holes on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. We're going to take some measurements of the front face right here. It's going to give us an overall width of about 5 inches. Overall height of about 3 1/2 inches. The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of our hitch pin hole is going to measure about 2 1/2 inches and it's a really simple installation.
Again, this is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch hitch but all you have to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch. Once you get the pin holes lined up, simply secure it with your hitch pin and clip or hitch pin and lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the US Army of One 2 inch hitch cover from AMG.

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

Thanks for your message and following up a year later! I have purchased two of these hitch covers for both of our cars. I'll attach pictures. I believe the first one I bought was 2 years ago and the second was a year ago. The two year old cover has shown a great deal of rust and deterioration over those two years. The other one is in much better shape but I would expect the same to happen over this next year.
I do live in Pittsburgh, a very rainy and humid climate for most of the year. Obviously in winter months, we get a lot of snow and ice with the roadways covered with salt. I'm sure those factors contribute to the rusting of this product.
I'll be happy to log in and make a review post similar to above if you would like me to. I have been a happy customer of yours with a few of these similar products.
