Hello, everybody. Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we are going to be taking a look at the Road Comfort floor mats for our 2017 Ram 1500. Custom fit floor mats are going to be a huge upgrade for your vehicle. It's just going to help protect our carpet. You won't have to clean it all the time, will have that dirt and debris off of the carpet.
We'll keep that on the mat, making our lives a whole lot easier. One thing that I do like about the Road Comfort floor mats is they're nice and soft. So, they're going to be really comfortable in the summer, but with them being a rubberized thermoplastic, they're still going to hold up good in the winter.We're going to have a nice anti-slip backing on the back of our floor mat to keep them from sliding around when we're getting in and out. Our floor mats are going to have really nice raised sides all around the mat to keep all that dirt and debris on the mat and off of our carpet. One thing I do like is going to be our raised channels and raised pads here for our feet.
That's going to keep our feet on the non-slip surface with all the dirt and debris under it in those channels.This is what I was talking about earlier, our mats are super malleable, easy to move around, and it's going to make getting them installed really simple. You just want to take them, kind of fold it a little bit, and then drop it into our floorboard and then line it up with the contours of our floor. Our passenger side mat is going to offer us all the same features as the driver's side. You have these nice raised channels here in the middle with our raised sides, and that anti-slip backing on the back of the mat, and they're really going to be comfortable, and you don't have to worry about them sliding around.Moving to the rear of our truck, we install our mats the same way that we did on the front. Just kind of fold them and then drop them into place, and then you move them and adjust them.
Now, our back mats are going to offer us the same features as the front. You're going to have those nice raised channels here in the middle with our raised sides and our anti-slip backing. Now, I will say one thing that I don't necessarily like about these, is that our center transmission tunnel here doesn't have a cover. So, this is going to be exposed carpet. You just want to keep that in mind.Comes time to clean these, it's going to be super easy.
Simply just pull them out how we put them in, then you can hose them down or wash them down the soap and water if you'd like, dry them off, and throw them right back in your floor board.In conclusion, adding these Road Comfort floor mats is going to be a huge upgrade for your truck. They fit a lot better than the stock floor mats. It's really going to protect our carpet. That's going to do it for our look at the Road Comfort floor mats for a 2017 Ram 1500.

Anti-slip backing has 1/8" cone-shaped nibs that hold mat firmly in place.They work OK, but the fit really isn't that great. I'd like them to not bind in spots or have the doors pinch the edges. Room for improvement. Seems they made these too universal instead of designed for my vehicle.
Nicely made. Front fits great, back is not correct for my 2017 Escape. The cut outs to go under the front seat are wrong. So back floor mats don't sit flat.
Nice mats took almost two weeks to come . Box open and very dirty mats look to be used and put back in dirty box.
