Today we're going to take a quick look at the Orion Roadside Emergency Kit with flares and first aid kit. Now, this is going to have everything you see here.Included with this kit we'll have our carrying case. The nice thing about this is that we'll have our handles there, but also a reflective triangle that's sewn into the bag, so that helps to give you a little bit more visibility whenever you're shining a light on that. You can set it out as another reflective piece to stay safe if you're using this next to your car. Then, it does sort of wing out to have that wide mouth to accept everything else in our kit. See the inside.

It's going to be a nylon material.Then we'll have our jumper cables. So if you need to jumpstart your battery, you'll have those available. We'll have the clamps color coded. Red for power, black for ground. At least so you can know to match the color to color so you don't cross any of your wires and cause any damage to either one of your vehicles.

We can store that in our bag.We'll also get four, or three 15-minute emergency flares. Open up this package so you can get a look at those. So they're going to be pretty typical flares that you've seen. They have the strike off cap. So you remove the cap and then strike it with that to ignite it.

Those come in the pouch, so it keeps them altogether. Keeps them from getting damaged or accidentally messed with at all when you have them stored away. These are made of an improved eco-friendly formula as well, so that's another benefit there.We'll also have our first aid kit. This is going to have 19 pieces. Basically just has a few Band-Aids, some alcohol wipes, sting relief wipe, and some antiseptic as well.We'll also have our poncho.

So if you're having to make any repairs in the rain, snow or anything like that, you'll have a hooded poncho that you can throw on to keep you from getting soaked while you do any maintenance.The ever universal zip tie. We will have, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten of those. Those are going to be a pretty good length, so it should work out for just about any situation. Those are going to be about 11 inches long. Latch anything together that you need to.We'll also get a flashlight and the batteries to turn that on. So never hurts to have an extra. It's kind of a lightweight flashlight. I wouldn't think that this would be super durable if you we're to drop it from a great height, but it always helps to have a spare for sure. And it's nice that it does come with the two AA batteries in the kit. So we're able to get that going without having to dig around for any extra batteries, or remember to put some in our kit before we throw it in there.Then we'll also have a very absorbent cloth. This, as you can see, is very small and compact, but whatever you open it up, expand it out, this can absorb a lot of moisture. So if you need to absorb any spills, that'll help there.So it's going to have a of different options as far as keeping us safe out on the road. This is a great gift item for anybody who's getting their permit, or their driver's license. It always is good to get them equipped for the road. Also has a little label on the front there, so you can make sure that you've got everything in the kit that you should.As far as the dimension of the bag, these corners do kind of tuck in here, so you can make it a little bit more compact. I like that you have the option of keeping it smaller, as far as the footprint that it takes up in your vehicle, but then also it expands out, so you can easily remove everything and see what you have inside.Overall, it's going to be about 11 and a half inches long. And then about six and a half inches wide. And it's going to be about seven inches tall. So it should fit easily in your trunk, maybe underneath your seat, behind the seat, pretty small, low-profile. And then we'll have our two handles so we can easily transport that in and out.Again, you have that little triangle. It's going to be a reflective material.
