Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the floor coverings, trunk liners, and tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins plug in simple vehicle wiring harness, with the four pull flat trailer connector. This product fits a 2011 to 2013 Buick Regal. It's going to provide a four way flat connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. It is compatible with five pull, six pull, and seven pull adapters. Adapters are sold separately, and it's going to come with a dust cap for the four way flat connector, that way you can cover up your connection points when the plug's not being used. Just fits over the connection points just like that.
The unit also features protective connection terminals to resist corrosion, and last a long time. This is going to connect quickly and easily, all you have to do is locate the connection points behind your taillights, and then you're going to have your connectors to get plugged in. One's going to go to the driver's side, one's going to go to the passenger's side of the vehicle. Now these plugs match up perfectly with the ports on the vehicle. They're going to push together and snap lock together for a nice, tight, secure fit. Once you have those connected, you'll need to make a ground connection, that's going to be this white wire right here.
It's got a ring terminal attached to it, you want to get that grounded to a nice, clean, metal surface, with the included grounding screw. Then you can secure any access or slack in the wiring with the cable ties. Once your install is complete, the four way connector is going to be stowed beneath the vehicle, near the trailer hitch. We do recommend purchasing a mounting bracket to keep the connector secure, it is sold separately. If you're in need of one, you can find them here at etrailer.com. It's also recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all your electrical connections, like the plugs on the vehicle, and the four pull connector itself.
The grease is going to help prevent corrosion of the connection points, and it is included with the kit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Hopkins plug in simple vehicle wiring harness.
