Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Kelty Essential Camp Chair here at etrailer. Now these chairs are gonna come in two colors here. We've got the light brown one here that I'm sitting in and the teal one behind me. So you can pick out whichever chair fits your campsite or your tastes the best.

Now you are gonna have a 16 1/2 inch seat height here. So I'm six feet tall. This is a pretty comfortable distance to sit down. I did also like their low-down chair. That one sits a lot lower to the ground.

Your legs kind of kick out a bit more comfortably, so for me, that's more of a lounging chair. But I know there are some people who are a lot taller than me, where that would be really uncomfortable. You'd probably feel pretty cramped and cooped up. So this might be a more comfortable seat height for those people. If you wanna take a step up, their lounge deluxe seat is pretty large and it has a reclining function.

So if you're really into the lounging side of the chair, that might be a great option to look for. But that seat also is just in general, larger, and maybe more comfortable for some people. These chairs do have a 300-pound weight capacity so just make sure that you're staying within that limit. Otherwise it's going to be a really sturdy chair. All the steel in here feels really solid to me.

I don't feel like it's really rickety. All the joints and everything feel high quality, and I feel stable when I'm sitting in it. These armrests are completely adjustable, so we can just pull this strap on the back to raise them up or let it loose to lower it down. So wherever your arm is most comfortable, you can get that set there for your own seat. Each chair does have its own cup holder which is quite large. So if you've got a big mug or a thermos or something, it'll fit just fine. My 32-ounce mug in there is pretty spacious. But we have this divider. I can put it in whichever half I want. I like this one here because it hugs the bottom of that cup really well. And even if it didn't have a lid on it, I wouldn't be worried about spills because it holds it upright really well on its own. Now, I don't know about you but my camp chairs at home are a pain to get packed up because the case they come in is just a long tube and you have to try to shove this folded chair down into a tube that it doesn't want to fit in. Here, all we gotta do is just condense those feet down, put them in that little pocket and wrap it up, buckle it in, and you are all set. Makes this whole process way easier so you can get to relaxing at your campsite much quicker and you don't have to deal with as much of a headache of cleaning up at the end of your trip. Once it's all done, you've got this great arm strap, so you can just throw it over your shoulder, bring it back to the car and be on your way.
