Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at Etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Taylor Made six foot long foam dock and post bumper. Now this foam bumper will attach to your dock, helps prevent damage to your boat when you're docking. It is made of a durable closed-cell foam, which absorbs the impacts. And it is flexible enough to mount on curves or around corners, see it bends pretty easily. It is a UV-resistant, non-marring polyester outer layer.

Won't fade in the sun or mark up your boat. And the top and the bottom flaps here allow for simple installation under the side of your dock or vertical post. The mounting flap width is about one inch.Now there are two ways of installing this to your dock. The mounting hardware is not included, that you would have to supply. There's the top of the dock method.

And I want to show you both methods just so you can understand. We'll zoom in here and I got a piece of a two by four that'll give us an example of the dock, like the fascia board on the dock. So the top of the dock method, basically you position the rounded corner cushion up, just like that, with the top tab on the top of the dock, and then you install the fasteners into the top tab. And then what you do is after the fastener installed, you just fold it over, just like that. And then install the fasteners at the bottom tab, right here, into the fascia board.

This method gives you a greater downward tear strength, and it gives you more protection for top and corner of the dock for any greatly sloped hulls.Now, the fold over method, basically what you'll do is position this bumper against the fascia upside down, just like that, with the tab up against there. And then with this rounded part away from the boat, the boat surface would be out here, and then you install the fasteners right here on the bottom tab. And then what you do is you just basically fold this over, just like that, and it covers up those fasteners you put in that tab. And then this rounded cushion, you can see, faces the boat surface, and then you install the fasteners in the bottom tab right here to the fascia board. This type of method, you can see with it installed just like that, this type of method will prevent the top fastener from damaging the boat, and of course there'll be no fasteners or bumper material on the top of the dock to kick or trip on.This is also designed to sit flush with the Taylor Made corner bumper, which we do sell separately on our website.

That's part number 369CB3-20. Now this is easy to clean with soap and water. This part is made in the USA. A few specs again, it's six feet long. Overall heighth on it, if I can get our ruler out here, is going to be right at about three and five eighths inches tall. And the thickness of it is about two inches thick.
