Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this REDARC 25 amp Charge Equalizer. Now, this is designed to manage a high current 12 volt supply in a 24 volt vehicle. It allows 12 volts to be tapped from the center of a series-connected, two-battery, 24 volt DC electrical system while ensuring an equal charge across the two batteries. Now, REDARC Charge Equalizers draw their power from a battery rather than from a current-limited device.

This allows for a much larger peak current draw. Now, because of their high peak current capability and fast transient response, REDARC Charge Equalizers are ideally suited to loads that require a safe, clean, and stable 12 volt supply. In addition, this features input isolation, which removes the need for an input relay or isolator, making it incredibly easy to install. Now again, this is gonna be for dual battery, 24 volt DC vehicle systems. The output voltage is six volts to 16 volts DC.

The output current rating is 25 amps. And the output fuse rating is 40 amps. The input current rating is 20 volts to 32 volts DC. And the input fuse rating is 40 amps. The standby current draw is less than 100 milliamps.

Let me give you some overall dimensions here. The overall length, we are sitting right at six inches long. The overall width, we are sitting right at 4 3/4 inches wide. And then the overall height, we are sitting right at inch and a half tall. Now again, this is a 25 amp Charge Equalizer.
