Only needed this part to repair one of my kayak cradles. Just got back from a 1900 mile trip with the kayaks on top of our truck, and had no problems whatsoever. Replacing just the part vs the cost of a new set of cradles was a no brainer. Very pleased.

Note to buyer, You will have to remove (drill out) the rivets (2ea.) from the old base pad from the "J" holder to install the new base pad to the "J" holder. No rivets or bolts were supplied. These would be 1/4" x 20 x 2-1/2" or 10mm cap head bolts.
