I just ordered 4 different knobs in hopes that one of them would be the correct thread size to fit my old 2 bike Xport bike rack I purchased from Performance Bike in 2005. Well 2 of them fit! They were made for SportRack bike racks so I guess that brand is similar. Very happy with the purchase.

Better than the original one I had on the bike rack. They need to improve the way this threads onto the nut and the plate that holds the rack. It can be very challenging and time consuming to get this non-locking cap onto the nut once the bike is seated properly onto the rack.

It's what I needed and it works. However, between the knob and the shipping, I paid about $11, which seems pretty steep. Now I just need to see if I can sell the bike rack on craigslist and the transaction will be complete.
