Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement hub for the Rock Tamers heavy-duty adjustable mud flap system for 2 1/2 inch hitches. Now this part here will replace the center hub for the Rock Tamers heavy-duty adjustable mud flap system. That system we do sell separately on our website, and it's part number ERT00110. I did wanna pop up an insert just to show you the system that we're talking about, if you notice, you can see this part is in the very middle there, that'll slide onto the shank, and you see the mud flaps on each side. So the Rock Tamer fully adjustable mud flaps, they're heavy-duty rubber mud flaps that'll slide onto your ball mount or tow bar and they adjust horizontally and vertically for a custom fit on your vehicle.
This part here is for just the hub portion that the side arms it'll attach to and it allows you to slide mud flaps onto the shank of your 2 1/2 inch ball mount or tow bar. Now the side arms that go right in here on each side, now those are not included. They are sold separately. They're part number ERT039 and ERT040. And then this hub will tighten down onto your shank with the clamp bolts, which go right in here.
And again, they're not included. We sell those separately, part number ERT052. This this for a quantity of one replacement hub. And then just to give you the measurement, this fits on 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch hitches, so you can see the center portion is 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. I moved from a 2” to a 2-1/2” hitch setup and they had all the parts I needed to get the job done efficiently and very cost effectively. Not to mention prompt delivery.

I went from a 2" receiver hitch to a 2.5" and I bought this worked really good for the new hitch definitely would recommend this product

Oh my goodness! The best part was customer service. She knew exactly what I needed and where it was in their site. Very helpful and knowledgable.
I had to convert my 2" hitch to a 2 1/2" to tow my travel trailer after buying a new pickup. The part is an original brand name part for the 'Rock Tamer'.
Purchasing the parts cost a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire items.
No problem swapping out, no modification needed.
Just the item to update to the new larger receivers.

Great. no problems at all.
I needed one for my 2" hitch and my 2 1/2" hitch. I would have thought it would have come with the bolts that secure it to the hitch but I will get some at the local hardware store. I do really like the mud flaps.
Already had the Rocktamers, just needed to upgrade to 2 1/2" hitch for my new F350. Quick shipping and fair price. Thanks!
I upgraded from a 2" receiver to a 2.5". I simply bought this larger sleeve to accommodate the larger receiver. Works great!
Very happy with them. Easy to use and durable. I bought an extra hub so I'd be able to use it with both 2" and 2.5" shanks, depending on what I was towing. Glad I bought them.

I do not tow my boat without it, it works that well. Today’s fiberglass bass boats cost a small fortune so having the Rock Tamers is added insurance to protect my poor choice of investment, haha
