Today we're gonna take a look at the 24-volt 100-amp continuous duty starter solenoid. Now this is a single-pull, single-throw, insulated starter solenoid for 24-volt applications. A few specs on this. The capacity is 100 amps at 24 volts. It is continuous duty, and it is on-and-off circuitry. The contacts are NO, which is normally open, and the quantity is for one solenoid.
I you notice, it does have the mounting bracket attached to it. The contact terminals right here, these are where your 24-volt power would come in and go out, and the two smaller terminals are your ignition and ground terminals. But that should do it for the review on the 24-volt, 100-amp continuous duty starter solenoid.

Worked perfect, my 5 Ton M923 Military Truck would not start, tracked it down to the power control box that was $395 to replace. Opened it up and the lower 24v Solenoid was bad. Replaced it with this 24v Solenoid and she fired right up. Back in business for a fraction of the cost.

We ordered the part on Tuesday 2-23-2021 and it was delivered on Thursday 2-25-2021 just like they said it would be. We had ordered the same part from another vendor on 2-10-2021 and are still waiting for the item to be delivered. Great customer service.

- Difference Between 3 Terminal and 4 Terminal SolenoidYou are correct. With a 3 terminal solenoid like the # PK5231201, the mounting hardware will serve as the ground connection. A 4 terminal solenoid like the # PK5232401 will require a dedicated ground wire from that additional terminal for this function. When choosing between the two, I do recommend going with a 3 terminal like # PK5231201, as it simply eliminates the need for a separate ground wire, which will in turn require you to drill another hole into the trailer's frame.

Either terminal on the front can be ground or ignition. I did get your picture, if you can provide more details on what you're installing it on I could make sure that this solenoid would be a compatible replacement.
