Today we're going to be taking a look at the flow control adapter for hand-held or fixed shower heads. Now this piece connects between the shower head connector and your shower hose. It's an easy thread-on installation. This unit allows you to control the flow of the water or reduce it down to a trickle, that way you can conserve water. The controller operates by turning it simply to the left or to the right. It will not shut the water flow off completely, so, please keep that in mind.
It does come with the appropriate seals to ensure leak-proof performance. It's made from a durable plastic construction. It has a really nice chrome finish on it. You can see the built-in screen in there. That's going to help filter, also acts as kind of like a low-flow aerator.
Again, this unit's designed to control the flow of the water or reduce it down to a trickle to conserve water. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The overall length of the unit measures about 1 5/8 of an inch and then the area that will actually be visible after the installation, measuring just that chrome section, it's about 1 3/16 of an inch to an inch and a quarter long.
