Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Firestone Double convoluted standard air spring. Now this standard Firestone air spring will offer maximum load support and this one here operates up to a hundred psi. This is a replacement part works for the air springs on the Firestone Ride-Rite kits, part number F 1130, F 2029, F 2040, F 2065, F 2068, F 2085, and the F 2070. All those kits use this type of spring. And this is a standard double convoluted air helper spring.
This will offer maximum load support, provides cushioning between the opposing components, and it enhances performance and ride comfort on your vehicles. And as we mentioned this does operate at up to a hundred psi. It is a four layer reinforcement construction, enhances the air spring load support. Has a nice braided wire girdle in the middle here. This helps create a convoluted shape, increases the burst pressure of your spring and it hs environmentally friendly, coated metal end plates on it, provide superior corrosion resistance.
At the very top you can see they have the machine-welded quarter inch NPT air intake hole and they do use a rolled crib seal. Keeps the rubber airbag secured to the end plates. And again, this is for a quantity of one airs spring. But that should do it for the review on this Firestone double convoluted standard air spring.
