Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this cool white directional 1383 LED bulb with the single contact Bayonet base for a quantity of one bulb. This LED bulb will upgrade or replace a 1383 light bulb to provide nice, cool white lighting. This bulb is great for side hanging or overhead application. And it is a directional design.

Provides 180 degree focus lighting.This is a 12 volt bulb. So it has many applications on your RV, trailer, or your boat or your vehicle. And this bulb uses LEDs, which make great replacements for incandescent bulbs. They're rated for up to 50,000 hours. They're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output.

And of course, no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break. At the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12 volt power. Just to show you how bright the light is.This bulb is compatible with inaudible 00:00:52 features for simple adjustment of light brightness. Does offer a built in surge protection to safeguard the internal electronics. And it is a single contact Bayonet base, which does install into a compatible 15 millimeter socket with a push and twist motion.

And it is a non-polarized design for easy installation. Which means whichever way you put this in and twist it to lock it into place, either way you do it, it will automatically light up. It is non-polarized.This is for quantity of one bulb. Overall height on this from the very bottom to the very top is two and five eighths inches. The installed height, which is going to be right about from here to here, is one and seven eighths inches.

The diameter at the widest point, which is the top here, one and five eighths inches. Light output on this is 305 lumens. Bulb type is 1383. The base type is a BA15s. Light type is cool white. Color temperature is 5,500 Calvin. Wattage on this bulb is 2.3 watts. And it does replace up to a 25 watt halogen bulb. Power draw at 12 volts is 0.19 amps.So what I'm going to do now is to show you how bright the light is. So we're going to do. You can see there's the single contact at the bottom. So we're going to put that onto our power here. And we'll take our ground and you see if I just touch the side, that'll get your light on. And I just want to show you with the overheads off, touch it again. Now you can see very bright focus lighting. As I mentioned, 180 degree focused lighting. And the color you can see as a cool white. Very bright light. And I'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights.
