Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two-wire pigtail wiring harness for trailer lights. This pigtail with the two-prong plug allows you to wire your light to your trailer. This is designed specifically for use with side marker, clearance, and utility lights. The wiring runs straight out of the back of the plug housing. It features the male pin two-prong PL-10 molded plastic plug. It connects directly to the back of a trailer light.
It's a two-wire design, so you have your white wire for ground, red wire for power. Then on the white wire we do have a number 10 ring terminal for establishing a good ground connection. You just use a grounding screw, take it through there directly into the trailer frame. Wire length is around 12 inches long, and it uses 18 gauge wiring. That's going to do it for today's look at the two-wire pigtail for trailer lights..
