Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Buyers Products, anti-sail brackets for mudflaps. These are going to help to keep your mudflaps straight and more rigid, so that they actually do their job instead of just sailing up in the wind and allowing rock and debris to get past them and then end up damaging your truck anyway. So these are going to keep those more rigid on your truck, keep them in place so that they can protect everything. It's a pretty simple install. You can either weld these on directly, or bolt them through. Probably need to use a bolt or self-tapping screw and a pretty big fender washer to take up the gap there. Maybe one on either side even.
It doesn't come with any hardware, so you can kind of pick your poison there on how to get these attached. So you will have to pick up that hardware on your own if you want to go the hardware route. It's going to fit a 24 inch wide mudflap. I have this one here just to show you how it's going to look with your bracket.Flip it over on the back. That's about what it looks like there.
It does not come with the mudflap though. The brackets just come by themselves. You do get a pair of brackets, but the mudflaps are sold separately. We have a lot of different lengths and widths available here at etrailer.com if you need to pick some up. And these are going to be a carbon steel construction, so they should be pretty durable and strong.
And they also have a chrome plated finish to give it a little extra sparkle and shine there. As far as dimensions, the width down here at the bottom, from outside edge to outside edge, is about 25 inches wide. Going on the inside as far as what you can actually use or what you can actually fit in there, pretty much right at 24 inches. The length from top to bottom overall is about 21 inches. From the bottom to that inside edge there, where you would have to mount your hardware, it's about 20-3/4 inches. The width on this sort of loop here, at its widest, is about 3/4 of an inch or about 5/8 of an inch actually. So that should give you an idea of the overall dimensions for the brackets.
Should be a good system to keep your mudflaps in place and doing their job. And that's going to do it for our look at the Buyers Products anti-sail brackets for mudflaps..

Brett handled our order like a true professional... Which is so rare these days.
It’s been 1 year since putting them on, and they still look great. They were easy to put on, and they are easy to clean. The other drivers in our company, wish they would have purchased the ones I did, instead of some cheaper brand. I am a happy styling truck driver.
