Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this BulletProof Hitches Light Duty Drop Tang for adjustable ball mounts. This drop tang is designed for use on BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mounts, and it gives you a lower connection point when towing a trailer with a low coupler height. This is going to slide up and down the channel of your ball mount and it's going to secure with the included mounting pins and clips. This does have a capacity of 10,000 pounds. This gives you a maximum drop of five and a half inches.

This is going to work with BulletProof Hitches one and seven eighths inch, two inch, and two and five sixteenths inch threaded hitch balls. And the ball hole diameter is one inch. This is constructed of powder coated steel. So this is going to do a great job of resisting the elements and it's going to continue to look great on the back of your vehicle even with use. And let me go ahead and just give you some dimensions that my proof helpful for you.

Looking at the dimensions of the platform here, let me rotate this here just a little bit so you can see that ruler. So looking at the width of that platform, we are sitting right at two and a quarter inches and it is right at three quarters of an inch thick. And then the pin diameter is five eighths of an inch. And this is a typical BulletProof Hitches quality. Very durable, very robust.
