Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bulldog Winch, roller-lever, limit-switch for winches or hoist. Now this limit-switch will automatically turn your winch or your hoist power on or off. You can use it to detect the exact point where you want your trailer door to shut, to prevent damage from over tightening. Has a nice adjustable lever here with a roller wheel. That'll detect the power on and off points.
So basically when it's in the center position like this, that means the power is on. And if your door comes up and goes up against this, that will turn it off. Or if it goes the other way, either direction, there'll be a momentary off-switch. And when it's in the center, it's all always on. It gives you a nice, smooth and accurate on and off switch.
This does install to the inline on your power in and up-wire switch the power off. This does meet the IP 62 specifications for water and dust resistance. Now to install this, it does have a four hole mounting pattern back here. Now, the installation hover is not included, you would have to supply that. The bolt pattern on this four bolt mounting pattern.
Horizontally, if you put it this way, is gonna be 13-16-seven inch. Vertically centered to center, five-eight-two-and-one-eighth inches long. Now this lever itself, there's a little Allen screw here, that if you loosen this, this lever could be moved in or out. So it is an adjustable lever. This will give you about two inches of adjustable length.
But again, just rotates off. Rotates off that way. When it's brings back to the center position, it'd be on. But that should do it for the review on this Bulldog Winch roller-lever, limit-switch for winches or hoist..
