Replacement Lights for 1989 Interstate Box Trailer

Question:

I have a 1989 Interstate 5 X 8 Box Trailer. It needs new tail lights and maybe runners. Item # STL42RB seems like it will fit as the 4 1/4 inch 3 screw mounting measurement pattern is the same as is the OD. However, the diagram is missing the slightly smaller diameter of the portion that passes through the mounting sheet metal. What is this inner diameter? Id also rather not have to buy 2 adapter plugs at 5+$ each. Are there any other tail lights with the same dimensions with just wires? Making progress. ETBC6 installed on tow vehicle and all Lighting tests correctly at hitch. Now its the trailer which does have electric brakes. Im rehabbing this because our smaller landscape trailer was stolen a while back.

The diameter you are looking for is 4-1/2" on the # STL42RB. This would be the widest part that would fit into the hole on your trailer. We do not have an LED option without the plug but we do have the Peterson # PM425-3. This has the same mounting hole dimensions and is also 4-1/2" at the widest point on the back. If you decide to stick with the Optronics light you will need the # A47PB or # A45PB.
