Best Trailer Hitch Receiver for Towing With 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon

What is the best trailer hitch for me to tow with using my 2022 Outback?

For your 2022 Subaru Outback the best hitch for towing is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR. This is a custom fit, Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight of 350 lbs. It also has a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look. This hitch features a rugged, matte black finish which will help hide dirt better than a glossy finish while providing rust and corrosion resistance.
Since you will be towing, I also recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467. The T-One connector plugs into existing wiring, providing you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. We have found that when it comes to wiring, Tekonsha is the most reliable option.
If you need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
