I would be happy to help you determine the correct weight distribution system for towing your 2020 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2608BS.
The hitch weight number of 796lbs you mentioned is with an unloaded trailer, which means the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # RP66087 you were looking at will more than likely be underrated for your trailer.
To determine the total tongue weight of your trailer you will need to measure the tongue weight with the trailer fully loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. The easiest way to accurately measure your tongue weight is by using a tongue weight scale like the etrailer Tongue Weight Scale # e99044.
Since your Ultra Lite has a GVWR of 8796lbs and the recommended tongue weight is 10-15% you are looking at 880-1320lbs tongue weight not including the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle.
With that in mind a system like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - No Shank - Trunnion Bar - 12K GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66074 which is rated for 600-1200lbs total tongue weight would be a great option if you are at the lower end of the tongue weight rating. This system does not include a shank or hitch ball so you will also need the Reese Weight Dist Shank - 13" Long - 6-3/4" Drop to 11-1/2" Rise - 1,400 lbs TW # RP3215 and 2" hitch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # 19286 depending on the coupler on your trailer.
If your total tongue weight is over 1200lbs you will need to move up to the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # BXW1500 which works with total tongue weights rating from 1000-1500lbs. This system already includes a shank so you will just need a 2" hitch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # 19286 to match the coupler on your trailer.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned and a link to a helpful article on measuring tongue weight for you to take a look at.
