Compatibility of Using Both a Weight Distribution System and Suspension Enhancement
Question:
I currently have a 2016 Nissan Frontier 4x4 4.0 L and I pull a 17foot Casita that is about 3200+lbs loaded with about a 435lb tongue weight. I have SuperSprings in the rear but Im not happy with how the truck squats and Im considering the Reese RP66151 WDH. My question is, should I keep the SuperSprings on the truck or remove them if I install the WDH?

Generally, you do not need to keep your suspension enhancement helper springs installed if you have decided to go with a weight distribution system to fix the squat in the rear end of your 2016 Nissan Frontier. You can remove your springs if you want, but if you leave them installed there will be no problem with a weight distribution hitch. The weight distribution system, if rated and installed properly, will do a better job then your springs.
I recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # RP66558. The Steadi-Flex is rated up to 600lbs tongue weight and has great sway control.
You will also need a ball for the Reese hitch. I recommend # 63845 2 inch ball with 1 inch shank.
