Recommended Replacement 4-Pole Wiring Harness for 2009 Ford Escape

THIS UNIT HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND WORKED FINE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. HOOK MY TRAILER UP WHICH IS NEW TRAILER All turn signals on the trailer are on when RT or LT Signals is on the vehicle. I clean the plug at the truck and tested... same problems. So I hooked up my old trailer which worked fine at last use Same problem as new trailer. Check ground wire from t-one module it appeared good, could the small module between the plug and vehicle be defective.

The most common cause for multiple trailer lights to come on when only one function is activated is a bad ground on the trailer side. But since the trailer is new and since you tested your truck's trailer socket and found the problem to be there as well, this suggests that your wiring harness is all done and should be replaced.

If your Escape did not come with a factory tow package you can use Tow Ready harness # 118551. If it does have the factory tow package instead use wiring harness # 118251.
