Our most popular model, the Tekonsha Prodigy Proportional Brake Controller with wiring harness # 3020P, has many of the same features as the Hensley controller. The big difference is that the Prodigy will not work with electric over hydraulic brakes.
The features in the P3 Proportional Brake Controller # 90195 and wiring harness 3020-P are comparable to the much more expensive Hensley controller. Both allow full stop in reverse. Both will work with electric over hydraulic brakes. And both... view full answer...
There is just a single difference between the Curt and etrailer trailer hitches that fit your 2023 Dodge Durango, which is the finish. The Curt has a glossier finish than the matte black finish of the etrailer hitch, so you can choose which you prefer. The hitches that fit your '23 Durango are the following part numbers:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98901
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13182
The matte black finish is nice as it hides the inevitable dings, scuffs and scratches... view full answer...
The Signature Series Reese hitches are indeed the puck systems. Both installation kits, part 30067 and part # 30074, will fit your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500.
The 30067 will require drilling the truck frame and was made obsolete a while back. The 30074 is a custom designed install kit that will bolt to existing mount locations and clamps around the frame so that no drilling is necessary. This reduces install time and some people do not want to add any holes to their truck frame.

An exhaust tip will make mostly a cosmetic change to a vehicle. Tips will not change the nature of a car's exhaust note nearly as much as installation of a cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust. Those components literally change the nature of the car's respiration system.
If you don't mind what is perhaps a weird analogy to help explain this, if the CAI and exhaust are the "lungs" of the vehicle, then the exhaust tip is the "nostril". Its more visible but has less effect on performance.

The three Curt trailer hitches that you referenced, parts # C15300, # C15318 and # C15319, all are 2-inch Class V hitches that share common weight ratings and all fit your 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Longbed with a factory standard or step bumper. All three can be seen on the link provided for you.
The difference between them is that the # C15300 fits some Ford F-Series and Bronco trucks in addition to fitting your 1998 Dodge Ram. This hitch will not fit trucks with a roll pan bumper and installation... view full answer...
The Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit, # C16200 & the B&W Installation Kit, # BWRVR3200 each serve the same purpose but are from different manufacturers. These are both ISR base rails and any hitch made in recent years by a major brand will be ISR except for those made specifically for the respective OEM puck systems. ISR is named so because they are the most popular pattern so are now referred to as the "industry standard." Industry standard rails are slotted... view full answer...
The two rails you mentioned, part # RP58058 and # C16204, are basically the exact same rails made by two different companies. They are both made to the industry standard rail design so either will work great with the Reese hitch part # RP30083 that you referenced. view full answer...
The Curt 4 Bike Platform Rack part # C18087 is what I recommend as it works with all different types of bike frames without any adapter needed and can carry much heavier bikes. The Hollywood Racks Traveler 4 Bike Carrier part # HR8500 is an okay choice but it would indeed require any adapter for women's or children's bikes and it has a 35 lbs weight capacity which most likely won't work for a beach cruiser. view full answer...
The good news is that we do have some hitches that are compatible with your 2000 Dodge Van. The bad news is that you cannot use hitch # C15300 from a 1998 Dodge Ram Pickup on a 2000 Dodge Van because the hitches are not interchangeable. The mounting holes are in different locations and hitches are custom designed to fit the frame of specific vehicles. The frames of these 2 vehicles vary quite a bit.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 75140. This hitch will work with either... view full answer...
When comparing the Stromberg Carlson 5th Wheel Tail Gates, # VGD-02-4000, and # VGD-02-100, there are several key differences. First, in terms of materials and construction, the 4000 series is made of composite materials and is lighter. The 100 series is made from steel and is heavier. The 4000 series features a glass-filled, black composite plastic frame that is blow molded to create a lightweight yet strong-as-steel tailgate. It does also feature a lock like you have mentioned.

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65046 and Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31017 that fit your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 are very similar in the mounting location. The main difference that I see is where the cross tube and receiver come together. The cross tube on the Curt is cut and the receiver passes through it. While the Draw-Tite receiver is welded to the bottom of the cross tube. Not having that cut in the cross tube will make it stronger which is why I would... view full answer...
For your 2013 Dodge Durango with factory 7-way the correct brake controller wiring adapter for a Draw-Tite, Tekonsha or Dexter brake controller is part # TK93VR. Part # 3021-P is for Ram trucks. view full answer...
Both are great options for your 2022 Dodge Durango but there are a few key differences between the Brake Buddy Select 3 # HM39524 and Classic 3 # HM39494. The biggest difference between the two is that the Select 3 has two braking modes; proportional braking and full braking. Proportional braking will activate the brake pedal in the tow vehicle in proportion to how you press on the brake pedal in the motorhome. The full braking mode has seven sensitivity levels to customize your braking... view full answer...
There are two Class III hitches available for the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. The Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 75579, and the Curt Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 13364.
Both of the hitches use a square tube design and will install in the same location on the vehicle. So they will all look the same on the rear of your Grand Caravan.
The difference between the Curt hitch, # 13364, and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75579, is the mounting bracket on the passenger side. The Curt... view full answer...
The difference between the 5th wheel installation kits # RP30852 and # RP30074 is what they fit. Kit # RP30852 is designed for 2010 to current Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series. Kit # RP30074 was originally designed for the Signature Series hitches and it fits various Ram models going back to 2002.
There is also a capacity difference. Kit # RP30852 is rated for 25,000 pounds while # RP30074 is rated for 18,000 pounds. However, you should always go by what the truck is rated for as stated... view full answer...
The Air Lift Helper Rear Coil Springs # AL60814 is the better choice for reducing the strain on your 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan's suspension while maintaining a slightly smoother ride for your passengers when you're not towing. I typically recommend the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TDVRRT for trucks that tow/carry heavy loads on a regular basis.
An even better option would be a weight distribution system which is chosen based on your total tongue weight which includes the loaded... view full answer...
The difference between manual and assisted chains is in how they are tensioned.
The method of assisted adjustment may vary from snow chain to snow chain, but the reason for these types of chains is the same. Built-in devices - whether cams or integrated pulls - make fitting and securing your tire chains quick and simple. They will not automatically tighten and align like self-tensioning chains, but they are much faster and easier to install than manually adjusted models.

If you are looking for something that will take out the squat at the rear end of the truck when connected to a travel trailer then the best option is weight distribution. But if it is a 5th wheel trailer you will be towing then suspension enhancement would be the way to go.

The only difference between the TST TPMS # TST-507-RV-6-C and # TST-507-FT-6-C is the type of tire sensors that are included with each kit.
Kit # TST-507-RV-6-C comes with 6 standard tire sensors, whereas kit # TST-507-FT-6-C comes with 6 flow through tire sensors, which let you inflate or deflate your tires without needing to remove them from the valve stems. The added convenience easily outweighs the small price difference, so I personally recommend going with # TST-507-FT-6-C. view full answer...
