Arrived quickly and was very easy to install. I had this installed on my 2023 Nissan rogue in less than 10 minutes by myself. I opted to not remove the plastic trim piece. Just had to flex it a bit and it went right on. I won’t be towing with this, but it’ll be great for our cargo carrier!

2023 Nissan Rogue
found etrailer videos on U-Tube while researching trailer hitches for 2023 Nissan Rogue. The, videos are very helpful and well made, Ordered the etrailer custom fit hitch it arrived well packaged and was fairly easy to install by myself, I was able to install it without removing the lower trim piece from bumper as shown in video, however I first tried securing one bolt loosely on passenger side then lifting to install other side (drivers) and found the exhaust in the way so I had to start over beginning on the driver's side, but all in all the installation was easy and the hitch fit perfectly.

I received my order quickly. Though one of the mount extensions had popped out of the shipping box, there was no damage to the unit. I like the matte finish, as it makes it almost disappear when not in use. I installed the unit myself (but another set of hands would have been helpful) in about 30 minutes. It was hard to move the unit into position because of the exhaust pipes, but I drove it about half-way up my ramps to get about 6 more inches of clearance, then it slid right into position. Would absolutely do it again.

Trailer hitch came, I installed it, after figuring out the bolts, for whatever reason I had to switch teem around to get them to tread, so if you think they don’t fit, try switching the bolts. It’s a two person job, my neighbor helped me. We did it on the ground, didn’t need to raise it off the ground. East install! Can’t wait for spring to go biking!

Order the powder coated version in the hopes it would be survive longer/better than the painted ones.
Unfortunately due to the way it's shipped, plastic wrapped with minimal padding, no box, there are several areas that have had the powder coating worn off/damaged that will need to be addressed before being installed. I expected the powder coating finish to be more resilient than painted.

The product is as advertised. Installation was easy as it took 2 of us about 20 minutes to install it. Access to the bolts is tougher on the drivers due to the muffler, but it fit perfectly. I recommend watching the installation video. They do need to do a better job with shipping. The 2 brackets that bolt to the car were ripped through the box. The metal easily sliced through the cardboard and were exposed. (See photos). Other reviews noted this and some were even bent on arrival. Mine were not and fit fine, but the packaging definitely needs to be reinforced.

The trailer hitch was easy to install and still looks great. The wiring harness is working great also. I did have to add wire to reach the passenger side tail light. The remember the kit arriving quickly and was a great price.

2023 Nissan Rogue
Order was said to be delivered but was evidently delivered to the wrong address. I chatted with a rep who told me to file a claim with UPS. Instead, I filed a dispute with my credit card to stop payment and told etrailer that they needed to file the claim. Silence from etrailer. UPS called me and verified information, so I know that a claim was filed. Very poor customer service to tell a customer to file a claim when the customer is out the cost of the product and has not received the product. Very poor customer service to not contact the customer and keep the customer updated. I guess I will give them a couple of more days and I have will have to purchase another hitch from a different vendor.

I think it was much easier than it looked in the video. It took me about 35 minutes to install it. I didn't have to take off most of the stuff that showed in the video. I think with the Nissan Rogue 2023, it is unnecessary to take all the pieces out.

Installed on 2023 Nissan Rogue. Hitch receiver arrived wrapped in heavy duty plastic and tape. First time installing a hitch receiver and was able to install it solo in 30 minutes. I can probably do it in 10 minutes now that I know how to. Tips: (1) Removing the 2 rear rivets in order to bend out the plastic trim by about 1/2 to 1 inch DOES HELP. (2) Jack up the driver side helps give more clearance with positioning the hitch receiver over the exhaust. (3) If installing solo, a standard jack stand is incredibly useful to hold up the passenger side as you install the driver side first.

Even though the package was ripped a little, with part of the unit sticking out of the package, the unit arrived in perfect condition. Install is ez. One person can do it, 2 is better. I used a motorcycle lift to lift the unit to the proper height and my son helped me bolt it in place. The instructions say to remove a plastic bumper piece, but we didn't have to on my '23 Rogue. I am happy with the unit. It is ready to tow. Thank u trailer! Your shipping was fast!

i would give it 4-5 if it wasnt for damaged box and bent outer brackets. I had to bend both sides over 3/4 inch to make it fit correctly. I used my patio steps for leverage to flex them out. But after bending out approx 43 3/4 i believe it fit just right. overall it fit good after that.

2023 Rogue SV, perfect fit. Took about 20 minutes to install. Lubricated bolt holes but really didn't need to, my threads were clean. Used a jack stand to hold up opposite side while installing bolts. Others complained about shipping box splitting, they must have listened because mine was just shrink wrapped in plastic. It really was as simple as put up in place, tighten 4 bolts done.

Arrived 2 days early. This came shipped in several layers of plastic wrap along with the light kit, cap and small bracket. It was delivered with no damage or scratches. It was fairly easy to install with the help of my son and a floor jack. we'll do the light kit installation another day. Everything lined up perfectly. We did remove the to plastic pins to make it easier to flex the plastic bumper. trim out of the way. I would recommend it.

The hitch was a good value and not very difficult to install at all. Without too much trouble and the help of my wife and some blocks and a floor jack, I was able to get it installed in about and hour and a half without lifting the rear of my 2021 Nissan Rouge at all. Our use for the hitch is for connecting our bicycle carrier which should work just fine.

Still working great after 1 year. The only issue I’ve had is it chafes against the exhaust heat shield. I just ground a small section out of the heat shield that was rubbing so it’s no longer an issue. Would definitely buy again!
