Speaker 1: Today we're going be taking a look at Yates Bow Roller for Boat Trailers, part number is YR300Y.Now for this assembly with the bells included, you'll want part number YR300Y-325Y.Now this replacement roller is designed to ease loading and unloading of your boat in its basic design, but it's made of a thermal plastic rubber. This rubber is designed to be much stronger than a standard rubber, and it's going to be softer than a polyurethane. With that material, we also won't have to worry about the roller causing any marks on our boat. It's designed to absorb road shock as we head down, so the stresses that our trailer experience won't be passed through to the boat.Now, just to give you an idea of the dimensions so you can ensure it's going to work for your application, the roller itself is going to be 3" wide, and it has a 3" diameter. The hole going through the middle is going to be 1/2", so it's going to work with any system that has a 3" requirement with a 1/2" bolt or pin.The first step in your installation process will be removing the existing roller if you have them on the front. You see here, our end rollers are in good shape still, but you can see that middle's really torn up.
This uses one of the pressure pin style holders. It's just a cap on each side that you typically just knock on there, so in our case, we're going to have to pry that off. If yours has a bolt, you'll just want to remove the bolt.Now with that off, we'll just slide our components out. You can see our shaft here is in pretty good shape. We're just going to be reusing this.
We're going to put a new hat on the end. Part number there is going to be CE10800. You could also use a replacement bolt. However, if you use inside rollers like this, with the thickness of about 1", that bolt's not going to be long enough.For the bolt itself, the part number is CE11096ZY. Our washers are part number CE10961ZY.
We're going to be using two of those and the nylon lock nut, part number CE10812ZY.Now the kit that we mentioned earlier is going to have all the hardware we just talked about. It's going to have your middle roller and it also has the bell off the side, so if you can't recycle your original bumpers, you can replace them.I want to take our parts here. We're just going to slide these back together. Then we'll just need to push our cap on here. This product was just what I needed to replace the old one on my trailer. It is over sized which is key in not hitting the mounting bracket and the material does not mare or mark the gel coat on my craft, in addition it was painless to install. Very happy with the purchase.

I needed parts for my 1962 Balko tilt small boat trailer. I call after making a list of parts I wanted and talk with customer service rep Sandy J. Awesome she checked all items for being in stock so I could get my order on Friday. That way I could start on it Friday night and have Sat and Sun to finish it up. As you see in the picture as of Sat night 8:30 CST almost done. I will finish up tomorrow and a big thanks to Sandy J. The team at eTrailer who got my order packed and shipped out on time. Parts are good quality for dollars spent. I highly recommend eTrailer for parts but so nice to find someone who cares about what they do everyday. One tip is to bore the hole into the bunker and installl a piece of PCV pipe for the 1/2 bolt to ride on instead of just the wood. I also mixed up some West Systems Epoxy and coated the hole in the bunker, PCV pipe and slide them into place. Added a Stainless Steel washer to each side done deal.
I'll be back If I ever needed anything again.

- What is the Closest Bow Roller Assembly Available for a 3-1/2" Wide BracketNo, we do not have a bow roller assembly that fits a 3-1/2" wide bracket. The closest that we have are for 3" or 4" brackets. 3" - Bow Roller Assembly # YR300Y-325Y 4" - Bow Roller Assembly # YR450Y-400Y
view full answer... - Solution for a 5 inch Bow Roller AssemblyI have a 5 inch roller, but the largest Bow Roller Assembly that we offer is a 4 inch, like part # YR450Y-400Y. The CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10401G is 5 inches and will accomplish the same task that a bow roller will. The only difference that you will need to consider is that the shank diameter for the 4 inch bow rollers is 1/2 inch while the keel rollers use 5/8 inch diameter shafts. You can take your old assembly off and mount this assembly if the 5/8 inch diameter shaft...
