Today we're going to take a look at the replacement gear box for the etrailer and Ram fifth-wheel landing gear. Now this part will replace the gear box assembly on the etrailer or Ram fifth-wheel landing gear, Part Number RVLG-8000, and we do sell that landing gear separately on our website. This gear box has a durable composite housing. The gear ratio on this is 3:1. Basically what that is is the shaft right up here that if you rotate that shaft three rotations, it will rotate the connection down here to your gear one revolution.But that should do it for the review on the replacement gear box for the etrailer and Ram fifth-wheel landing gear.

I had to find another one after it didn’t arrive in time. I will be returning it to you for a full refund. I had ordered from you previously and was well pleased, I was a little disappointed this time.

I had to replace drive motor due to clutch slippage. the stronger motor would not fit existing gear box, so replaced both for less than factory motor. I would highly recommend for anyone needing to replace the motor on stabilizer legs.

The drive is made of metal. It is much better than the plastic unit that I removed. I would suggest opening up the new unit before installing it and thoroughly greasing ALL moving parts and the thrust surfaces. The manufacturer put very little grease on the moving parts and the new unit deserves better care.
