I ordered this for my step through e-bike. The quality of this product is excellent! I especially love the fact that the ends are not metal like some others I looked at. This one won’t scratch my bike. E-trailer shipped it quickly and I had it within days of placing my order.

by:

Nice product, sturdy, easy to use! Great service, came quickly

Still working great after a year. It is well made and sturdy, and does the job!

by:

Although we haven't used these on a long trip, I can say they work great to stabilize our kid's bikes when we went on a short trip in our community. We had no idea we were supposed to use these adapters to keep the bike safe (from falling off) and also from damaging the bikes while being transported, we now realize how much better the bikes fit and are much more secure. Because of COVID, the Thule adapters were out of stock but this brand is pretty much the same, does the same job and was less expensive.

Purchasing thru etrailer was a great experience. My order was processed promptly, my package arrived as expected, and the shipping vendor used (UPS) delivered on time and when they said it would be delivered! The product purchased is of high quality and works as expected. I’d definitely do business with etrailer again. I highly recommend etrailer.

by:

The frame adapter bar was just what we needed. It goes on and off with such ease.

by:

This rack is rock solid and easy to install and uninstall

by:

Our adapter bar for our bike rake was exactly what we needed. Alex from etrailer kept in contact with us thru the whole process to let us know when it was shipped and to make sure we received it. I would recommend etrailer for ordering any bike accessories you may need. Thanks Alex for a job well done.

by:

Great experience dealing with your company. The adapter bar is working out perfectly. Now I can put the ladies bike and Childs bike on the rack. Thanks.

by:

The bar fits my "low entry" bike well. It's strong and supports the bike nicely on the bike rack.

by:

Perfect for supporting our bikes on our bike rack.

by:

This product is a God send.Too bad that th bike rack I purchased didn't mention the fact that I way need to purchase a bike frame attachment. If they did it would have beeen better thank god this product is available and that etrailer had it available.

by:

Bike frame adapter works great. Easy to attach to bikes and works with my bike rack great.

by:

I have been VERY happy with the customer service from etrailer, specifically Noah!! As far as the product, it is easy to use and solves the problem of securing my step through bicycle. I have just used it once but so far so good.

by:

If you have a step through bike, this is a must. Well built and easy to use

by:

Perfect fit to add to bike rack!

by:

Great tool to "even out" those bike lines when carrying on the back of a vehicle.

by:

Great addition to my vehicle and helps Me transport my bikes safely.

by:

Perfect for a step through bike frame.

by:

I thought this was something terrific that I couldn’t findI put this on in five seconds and took it off in five seconds this appears to be just what I was looking for

by:

There's no way that I could mout all four bikes without these. They work beautifully.

by:

Works well

by:

Definitely helps on a female bike. No issues. Works great.

by:

I've not had a chance to try this out yet. I'm giving 4 stars for the speed in shipping though!

by:

Great product. Just use an extra strap between your frame (under the seat) and the carrier bar for added safety. Just think... if the seat came off, your bike would be on the ground without it!

by:

Work as expected. A little cheaper than the Yakima brand.

  • Available Bike Adapter Bars for Women's and Alternate-Frame-Design Bikes
If you are referring to bike adapter bars like the part # SR0500 that you referenced we do offer these from several makers. All are shown on the linked page. These vary in price and in their extension length. For example, Swagman's adapter bar # 64005 is among the lowest-cost options and this one extends from 16- to 29-1/2-inches.

  • Will SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar Fit SportRack Spare Tire Bike Rack
Yes, you can use the SportRack adapter bar, # SR0500, with the SportRack spare tire mounted bike rack. However you should only need it if the bike you need to load has a step-through frame, alternatively shaped frame tubing, or the top frame bar is not long enough to fit the rotating cradles on the rack. I have included a link to a video that shows how adapter bars work. It is a different bar but the principle is the same.

  • Best Affordable Electric Bike Rack for Ford F-150 Truck
I have a couple options for you with some different extra features. The first is the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR. This is a super heavy duty bike rack with a 70 lbs per bike capacity. What's special about this one is how it is also rated for use on RVs and Motorhomes which are known for having extra road vibrations and stress on the bike rack. The second option is the Swagman Current # S64678. This has a 60 lbs per bike capacity. Nice features are how it can accommodate fat tire bikes with...

  • Weight Capacity of # SR0500 SportRack Frame Adapter Bar
According to SportRack, the capacity of their Frame Adapter Bar # SR0500 is 35 lbs. I've checked with our other bike rack manufacturers such as Thule, Yakima, Kuat and Swagman among others, and have found that the 35 lb capacity is typical. Over the years, we've found that the Swagman adapter bar, part # 64005 is the easiest to use.

  • Securing Bike With Alternative Frame To Platform Bike Carrier
Most frame mount platform bike racks will fit a vareity of bike frames. If you have concerns with the crossbar height of any bikes you can check out an adapter bar like part # SR0500. This adapter attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and provides a level plane for securing the bike on a carrier.

  • Recommended Curt Class III Receiver and SportRack 3-Bike Rack for 2011 GMC Terrain
Although some Class II receivers are offered for your Terrain, I always recommend going with a Class III whenever the choice is available. Although the greater capacity is not that important to you, the 2 inch receiver that the Class III uses is much more common, therefore there is a better selection of hitch mounted accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers available for the 2 inch receiver. The etrailer Class III Receiver, part # e98865 is our most popular hitch for your Terrain and...

  • Best 4-Bike Rack To Clear Rear Doors On a 2007 Dodge Sprinter
The only way you are going to be able to open the rear doors on your 2007 Dodge Sprinter with a bike rack installed and the bikes attached would be to use a swing-away bike rack. I saw that you were looking at four bike racks so if this is how many bikes you have then I recommend going with the SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack part # SR2415 which is currently the most cost effective option that fits the bill. However, you will need the SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SR0500 for...

For your 2006 Honda CR-V with a spare tire I recommend using the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Rack # TH9027XT. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar on the carrier is 12 inches which should give you more than enough room for your spare tire. This bike rack features a swinging arm that will allow you to gain access to your cargo area just keep in mind that you will most likely not be able to open your rear door all of the way. It also has bike locks built into...

The Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR is an excellent option for a 2019 Toyota Camry with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11576. That said, if you are interested in adding locks then the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT is a better option as you not only get a hitch lock with anti-rattle but also integrated bike locks. The rest of the spare tire mounted bike rack options we offer top out at 33 lb per bike. • Trailer Hitch and 4-Bike Rack Recommendation for 2020 Toyota Sienna
Let's start with a trailer hitch for your 2020 Toyota Sienna, and for that I highly recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76112 because of Draw-Tite's reputation for quality and because it has a hidden crosstube for a clean look. Since you mentioned a small trailer, the correct wiring harness for your Sienna will depend on what model it is. If you have a 2020 Toyota Sienna SE model, you need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118498; if you have ANY other model of '20 Sienna you...

I viewed the video (1:08 mark) about the SportRack 3 bike carrier # SR3152 that you referenced, and the cradles are actually pretty secure and will take a little force to move them around to the desired position. So you won't need to worry about the cradles sliding while you are driving down the road. This bike rack can carry 3 bikes and the weight capacity is 105 pounds. If you will be transporting any woman's, child's or alternative frame bikes, an adapter like # SR0500 will be a...

  • How to Carry Bikes on a 2017 Ram ProMaster
I do have an option for you but they do not make a bike rack that attaches to the rear swinging doors on your 2017 Ram ProMaster to my knowledge. The only logical way to carry bikes on this vehicle would be with a trailer hitch and hitch mounted bike rack. For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76050 which is a custom fit that installs using pre drilled holes in the frame rails. This option is cost effective and is fairly easy to install...

After doing some digging, I was able to find one option for a 3-bike trunk-mounted bike rack for your 2016 Lexus RC 300, from Yakima: - Yakima FullBack 3-Bike Rack # Y02633 The FullBack will fit your Lexus, but it is also just a really nice rack with strong anti-sway cradles and ratcheting straps which secure your bikes at three different points; this ensures your bike won't swing while you are traveling, keeping it steady to protect the bike as well as your Lexus. I spoke to my contact at Sportrack and she informed me that the Adapter Bar part # SR0500 that you referenced has a 35 lb capacity. All of the adapter bars we carry are rated at 35 lbs. If you are in need of an adapter bar for a 42 lb bike your only option would be to go with a platform style bike rack. The T2 bike rack part # TH83JV for a 2 inch hitch or the # TH23JV for a 1-1/4 inch hitch would be a great option for you as they can handle bikes that weigh 60 lbs each.
