Best 4-Bike Hanging Rack for a 2019 Toyota Camry
Question:
We just recently installed a Curt C12107 hitch to our 2019 Camry and were looking for a 4-bike hanging rack. I was looking at the Thule Hitching Post Pro- would you recommend this rack or is there another one that you would recommend instead? I am looking for something easy to use and reliable. I was also planning on getting the Snug-Tite hitch lock THSTL2 and Thules locking cable with a One Key System core. We will also be carrying a womens Verve 2 bike- do I need an adapter bar? Finally, reading on your website, I believe I also need a Curt stabilizer strap as well. Anything else?

The Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR is an excellent option for a 2019 Toyota Camry with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11576. That said, if you are interested in adding locks then the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT is a better option as you not only get a hitch lock with anti-rattle but also integrated bike locks. The Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device part # THSTL2 when added to the Thule Hitching Post Pro would only give you a hitch lock and no bike locks. The Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack is also much easier to use as the folding latch is more conveniently placed and the hitch lock/anti-rattle device does not require any tools unlike the Thule Hitching Post Pro. The spacing between the bikes is also another added bonus.
Please note, you will need to use an adapter bar for the Verve 2 Bike. The SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SR0500 will work just fine. The Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap part # 18050 is no longer required.
