Video Transcript for Pro Series Detachable Footplate Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the pro-series detachable foot plate, designed for use with two and quarter inch main tube jacks. Part number on it is PS1400700340. Now as you can see, we've got an included pin here, this is going to securely attach the foot plate to the bottom of our jack. The whole diameter here inside to inside is about two inches. This is going to be designed to fit the jacks so they have the two and a quarter inch main tube and the two-inch tube that comes out of those. The main body of our foot plate measures about three and three quarters of an inch wide and we've got about seven and a half inches in width. Now attachment to your trailer couldn't be easier.

What we do is just bring it down underneath our main shank, slide it into position, we'll lift up on it, and then slide through our pin. Now with that just the steel tube that comes out we've been having issues with this just digging down into the gravel a little bit and causing us some headaches so our foot-pack design here is going to help to dissipate that and spread that weight out to give us more upward pushing force. They've designed it with a Zinc construction, so that's going to help to prevent the rust and corrosion as we go down the road. As you can see with it installed, it's just a matter of letting your jack do the work now. As you can see there, we've got a nice sturdy fit. Our foot-packI's not going anywhere.

We could keep lifting it up but I don't feel like wasting your time with that, so go ahead and just lower it back down. This is going to be fully detachable, if you decide that you don't want the noise or don't want it attached as your going down the road. We can leave it connected just as you see there, but simply by just removing that pin and raising our tube up high enough we'll be able to take it right back off. So there you go guys, that's today's look at the pro-series detachable footplate for two and quarter inch main tube or two inch down tube jacks. Part number on it is PS1400700340. .

Decent foot plate but it didn’t come with a connector pin.

by:

Fit very nice, prevents damage to my jack shaft. Wide foot supports the weight of the trailer.

by:

Hard to find locally, quick and easy from etrailer

by:

The footplate is a perfect fit for the jack, and is large enough to provide a stable footing. I am using it on a Rockwood 25 ft Travel Trailer. After having an electric jack that failed too soon, I am glade to return to a manual jack.

by:

This what I needed for my trailer, more stable, also very fast shipping, and the commutation was awesome

by:

Worked perfect to replace the missing jack foot on a vintage toy hauler. A little effort to redo the crushed tubular section & the new foot slipped right on. Thanks for the prompt service.

Shipping was very fast and excellent pr oduct

This is a great foot plate for 2" jacks. I would not put on a new jack without it. Shipping was prompt.

This foot pad gives me good clearance while towing it behind my SUV

So far, its still working great No problems with it

by:

My leveling jack broke on my camper/ice shanty as I was preparing for hard water to thicken. I remembered ordering parts from etrailer when I was building it 4+ years ago. My experience with you back then was excellent as it was this time. Thanks for the quick service and the great products.

Arrived on time as promised. Order in conjunction with a new A frame side wind jack. Fit great and is very sturdy. Would use etrailer again.

by:

Works well, but I take it off when trav eling.

by:

Quick service and dependable profession als

by:

Nice strong trailer Jack plate

by:

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect fit, easy to order, came in about a week. 3rd order from etrailer I'll be going back for all my needs in the future!!

by:

Used this for a swivel jack I modified for my square drop trailer.

by:

Product was high quality, arrived quickly and worked well!

by:

Awesome product! Well built, fit perfect. I needed to drill a couple holes in the foot to drain out any water because it will get trapped. No big deal! I would recommend this product to anyone that need one! Thanks etrailer

by:

Fits great and works great.

by:

Quality piece and a decent price. I never had a footplate before and I think this will well.

by:

Am excellent product that will last and didn’t cost a lot.

by:

Better than expected, high quality, fast shipping, it’s trailer heaven!

by:

Arrived on time as described

by:

After a year doing its job well.

by:

Works and fits as advertised. Maybe not as heavy duty as I was hoping, but it will get the job done, especially for the price.

  • Mounting Hole Spacing of Pro Series A-Frame Trailer Jack
The mounting holes of the Pro Series A-Frame Trailer Jack # PS1400600303 is 3 inches center on center. And you're correct this is an industry standard. The matching foot plate is # PS1400700340 and the caster is # PS1400750340.

  • Will Bulldog A-Frame Jack # BD1550101344 Fit 2,000-Lb Boat and Trailer and Be Corrosion-Resistant
The Bulldog Round Sidewind A-Frame Jack, part # BD1550101344, has a lift capacity of 3,000 lbs and will work fine on your 2,000-lb boat and trailer for lift capacity. The lift capacity means this jack is able to lift and support up to 3,000 lbs. An A-frame jack like the Bulldog is mounted on the tongue of the trailer so it is rated to lift the tongue weight of the boat and trailer. If you have a 2,000-lb boat and trailer, the tongue weight range would be 10 to 15 percent or 200 to 300...

  • Length of Pro Series 2K A-Frame Trailer Jack from Mounting Bracket to Bottom and Pin Hole Diameter
On the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Trailer Jack, # PSEA20000103, it measures 8 inches from the mounting bracket to the bottom of the inner tube. For the footplate, # PS1400700340, or the Wheel, # PS1400750340, (both fit this jack) the pin diameter is 5/16 of an inch and the length is 2-3/4 inches. The slotted holes on the mounting bracket measure 7/16 inches wide by 7/8 inches long. They are 3 inches apart on center.

  • Recommended Trailer Jack to Use with Bulldog Heavy-Duty Cast Head Coupler # BD44150WH301
I do have a solution for you, however the Bulldog Square A-Frame Jack referenced in your question will not work well with the Bulldog Heavy-Duty Cast Head Coupler # BD44150WH301. This is because this particular coupler features a 2-1/4 inch diameter hole that is designed to accept round tube trailer jacks, not a square design like the Bulldog model you mentioned. For this coupler, I instead recommend looking at the Bulldog Round A-Frame Jack # BD1550101344. This is another great 3,000...

  • Replacement Foot for 2 Trailer Jack to Help Lower the Foot Faster
Since the Pro Series Detachable Footplate part # PS1400700340 fits a 2" jack I have the perfect solution for you. The Husky Brute Super Foot Fold-Up Jack Foot # HT31610 is a folding jack that gives your trailer jack a 7" extension so that you have less work to do. Keep in mind this does have a 1,400 lb weight capacity so if your jack is rated for a higher weight capacity this folding foot will be the limiting factor.

  • Replacement A-Frame Jack for Forest River A-Frame Pop Up Trailer 17
I pulled up pictures of your Forest River A-Frame pop up trailer 17 and it has a very standard a-frame jack on it that we can easily help you replace. The trailer does seem to have a very low ground clearance so that would be the most important feature to accommodate. Take a look at Pro Series jack # PS1401000303. The mounting bracket is very low relative to the bottom of the jack tubes, 5-1/2 inches. You can use footplate, # PS1400700340 and wheel # PS1400750340. The wheel is rated for...

  • Replacement Trailer Jack Recommendation for a 2005 Haulmark Transport 6X10
I looked up some pictures of your trailer and it looks like the style of jack that came on your trailer is an A-frame style jack like part # PSRV20000103. This would be a great jack to use as a replacement as it should replace what you currently have and has plenty of capacity. I feel confident recommending this jack because of how many positive reviews it has as well. You may also be interested in a wheel caster part # PS1400750340 but should note that it would reduce the capacity of...

  • Is a Support Plate Needed When Installing Bulldog A-Frame Trailer Jack # BD1550101344
It would be a good idea to add a support plate, like # BDSPB50, when installing A-frame jack # BD1550101344. The plate can be welded or bolted on. This plate fits on the underside of the trailer. The jack will then bolt into place. If you need a foot use # PS1400700340 or for a wheel use # PS1400750340.

  • Replacement A-Frame Jack Recommendation for a 1992 Pace Enclosed Trailer
Sounds like you need an A-frame jack to replace what you currently have on your trailer. The Pro Series A-frame jack part # PSRV20000103 should work well for you as it has a 2,000 lb capacity and 14 inches of lift. For a foot you would want the part # PS1400700340, or for a wheel part # PS1400750340. You should note that using a wheel like this will cut the overall capacity down to 1,200 lbs.

  • Is an Extendable Foot Available for Pro Series Round Topwind A-Frame Jack # PS1400600303
We do offer a foot plate for the referenced Pro Series Round Topwind A-Frame Jack # PS1400600303. The jack does not include any foot plate or wheel but both are available. I have linked a video on this Pro Series item. The foot plate is part # PS1400700340 and it includes the pin to secure it to the inner tube of the jack. We also offer a caster wheel attachment rated at 1200-lbs, part # PS1400750340, which also includes the pin to secure it to the inner tube of the jack. Note that both...

  • What is the Pin Hole Size to Attach a Wheel or Foot on Pro Series 2K A-Frame Trailer Jack
On Pro Series trailer jack # PSRV20000103, the pin hole on the lower leg is approximately 3/8 of an inch in diameter. It is actually just slightly larger. For a foot that will fit you can use # PS1400700340. Or for a wheel use # PS1400750340. The wheel is rated for 1,200 pounds so it would limit the jack to that same 1,200 pound capacity.

  • A-Frame Jack Replacement for a Carry On 5x10LGW2K Trailer
I looked up pictures of your Carry On 5x10LGW2K trailer and it uses a standard A-frame design so for an easy replacement the Pro Series Jack part # PSEA20000103 would be a great topwind option just like what came on the trailer. For a caster wheel you would want the part # PS1400750340 or for just a standard foot plate part # PS1400700340.

  • Removing Caster of Bulldog Rack-and-Gear Jack # BD162300
According to Bulldog, the caster wheel of the # BD162300 could theoretically be removed, but it is not recommended. If the bolt holding the caster is removed, and the caster is slid off the tube of the jack, there are washers and ball bearings that will fall out of the bottom of the jack that will be very difficult to replace. This jack was not designed to have the caster removed and replaced with a foot plate. The Pro Series # PS1401000303 might be a good option. From the mounting bracket...

It's a swivel jack with a 10" lift and 2000-lb capacity. 2) Pro Series Detachable Footplate w/ Pin for 2" Diameter Jacks, part # PS1400700340. I went out to the warehouse to measure the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack, # PS1401000303. The outer tube is 2-1/4 inches in diameter. The inner tubing is about 1.97 inches in diameter. This jack does not come with a wheel or footplate. For a wheel, you can use # PS1400750340. For a foot plate, you can use # PS1400700340.

  • Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack for a T@B TAB Tear Trailer with a 1.5
I think the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack is a good choice. The model for 4 - 5" frames is # F1413140334. The 1600 lb. tongue weight rating is much more than you need, but won't affect the function of the jack. The height will work and it will get the jack level with the tongue when traveling. My only concern would be that you have enough space on your frame for the jack to swing up. You will need approximately 25" of frame space that is free from other accessories to allow the jack to swing...

  • A-Frame Jack Recommendation for Travel Trailer with Propane Tank Right Behind Jack
As far as the Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K goes the design, and more specifically the placement of the pin, is placed close to the mounting point of the jack because that is where the jack is most stable. As far as I know they are not yet making one that would work out well for your travel trailer. Your best option is a different jack that doesn't stick down so far below the trailer frame. Bulldog 3K jack # BD1550101344 is one option. Without a footplate on it measures 7 inches from...

I looked up your Karavan trailer online, and found it has a GVWR just shy of 3000 lbs. I'd recommend the Pro Series Sidewind A-frame jack, part # PSRV20000103. The jack has a 2000 lb capacity, which is plenty for your small trailer, as the jack won't need to pick up the entire weight of the trailer, just it's tongue weight. The additional capacity means that jack won't need to work very hard and should therefore last you a very long time. The jack doesn't include a foot plate, which...
