Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement E-coated Caliper for a 7,000 pound Dexter Disc Brake Assembly. This will work on left hand or right hand side. Now, this replacement caliper will fit the 7,000 pound Dexter Disc Brake Assemblies, uses the opposing piston technology, which insures even pressure on both sides of the rotor. This will enhance braking performance and minimize pad wear. It is a self-adjusting design, so it does allow the caliper to shift so that it stays centered on the rotor. It is a ductile iron construction, so it prevents flexing to keep your braking torque consistent.
It has a nice E-coat finish to it to help resist corrosion. It is a universal configuration so it can be used on either the left hand or right hand side of the trailer.It does include everything laid out here on the table. The caliper lifts itself, all the mounting bolts that's needed, the leader screw, tube clamp, anti-rattle spring, 3/16 inverted adapter, and even a brake line assembly is included. Now, the brake pads, those sold separately. We do list them on our website and they're usually listed on this product page as a related product.
