Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and this is an exposed cross tube meaning you are gonna see all of the hitch below the fascia and as well as your receiver tube opening. And if you're not a fan of that, and you want a little bit cleaner OEM look with just the receiver end down, you can take a look at the Curt or etrailer hitches, which are gonna be a hidden cross tube design. They also do have a little bit higher capacity but the Draw-Tite does have a few added benefits. Well one of 'em I should say, is gonna be this welded on tab and that way if you are planning on doing trailer wiring, you can easily put a bracket onto here and get your fore pole mounted up. Taking a closer look, it is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be kind of the standard for a lot of your accessories, whether it's ball mounts, cargo carriers, or bike racks. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today on our 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're gonna be installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver and this is what your hitch is gonna look like when installed on your Santa Fe and they've done a really good job of making it nice and clean looking. You can see it butts up right against the bottom of our fascia, but there's no trimming required. Another great thing about this is it's a hidden cross tube meaning the hitch kind of lives behind the rear fascia except for the receiver tube opening. So you get a nice clean look with really only the business end hanging out. Now being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening is a really nice size because it's kind of the standard for a lot of your accessories. So whether you're getting a ball mount, a bike rack or cargo carrier you're gonna have plenty of options available. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed in your Santa Fe. The great part is it's a hidden cross tube meaning that most of the hitch is gonna be hidden. The only thing that's gonna be hanging down and visible is the business end here on the hitch. And this is gonna be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening which is gonna be a great option for plenty of different accessories. Now any accessories you load in your hitch will need to be kept in place with a 5/8 pin and clip, does not come with the hitch. more

Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer, trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. So here's what our trailer hitch is going to look like installed now with the etrailer hitch something that they do that I really like it's going to be in regards to the finish. So our etrailer brand of pitches here, they use a matte finish and compared to some of the other glossier trailer hitch finish options such as those from Draw-Tite and Curt the matte does a little bit better job in my opinion of blending in with the vehicle. And it also does a little bit better job of helping hiding the nicks and scratches that a trailer hitch has on the underside of the vehicle. It's also going to obviously protect the hitch from rust and corrosion as well. So adding a trailer hitch to your Santa Fe is going to be an excellent option. more

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw Tite Class 2 trailer hitch receiver. Now the hitch is going to be mostly visible, however it does drop down and blend in to the back of our car nicely. Now many questions our customers ask us is if they're going to be able to put their spare tire back after that hitch is on, and the answer is yes, you won't have any issues at all.Now this is a Class 2 hitch so it's going to have that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. This is going to work perfectly for you, especially if you already have those inch and a quarter accessories. Not to mention, nowadays, quite a few hitch mounted accessories give you the option to both use two inch hitches as well as inch and a quarter hitches.Now the hitch is going to have the half inch sized pin hole. more

It's pretty much going to be hidden behind the bumper, and when we have the cover off, all we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. What was really unique and nice is the fact that we can actually replace that cover so that our vehicle will look completely stock and we're not going to have anything distracting or taking away from the looks of our Santa Fe.Our hitch is going to give us a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, so we're going to really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories that we can mount up. Now the way we're going to mount all of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on this side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8" pin and clip; now these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com.Now the secondary hole that's towards the opening on our receiver tube, that's going to be exclusively for the J-pin stabilization device. more

Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Curt class 3 custom fit trailer hitch receiver. The hitch on our Santa Fe's gonna be completely hidden behind this appearance panel here. We can remove it, and our receiver tube will be ready for us right there. It's really nice that the hitch is gonna be hidden behind there, 'cause it's not gonna be distracting, taking away from the looks of our Santa Fe, or have anything hanging down below the bumper.Our hitch is a class 3, which means it's gonna give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and have a lot of different options for any kind of accessory that we wanna mount up. As far as weight capacity goes, we found that the etrailer and the Curt hitch we're the winners here, because they do feature a higher weight capacity than the Draw-Tite hitch does.As far as appearance goes, we found the etrailer hitch to be the winner here, because the better finish on the hitch being more scratch and rust resistant will maintain a nice clean look underneath our vehicle for a much longer time than the other hitches.In my personal opinion, if I was going to be buying a hitch for the Santa Fe, I would first decide what I'm using it for. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe - Curt- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class Two Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12113. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like. The cross tube is going to be visible and it's gonna sit right below our bumper.This is a Class Two Hitch, which means it's gonna give us that inch and a quarter, by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And it's really great for things like bike racks, or even cargo carriers. The way we're gonna attach all of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side.Now it is gonna accept a standard half inch pin and clip, and both of these are gonna be included in the kit, which is always a nice bonus. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be installing a Class-3, 2-inch Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with part number C13152. And this is what it's going to look like once you get it installed. Most of it's going be tucked up underneath, but there is still going to be some of it visible on the outside.It has a five-eighths inch hitch pin hole, and a hitch pin and clip, which is not included, but can be picked up on our website with part number PC3. It is a plate style safety chain loop, so it's going to be quite wide, although it is a little thicker, but you should still be able to use your safety chains at just about any angle.It also features a reinforced collar. It is a 6,000 pound gross trailer weight, which is the weight that it pulls behind it, and a 900 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on your receiver hitch tube. It also works with weight distribution systems, and while utilizing one, it increases the gross trailer weight rating to 8,000 pounds, while the tongue weight rating remains the same at 900 pounds.And now I'm going to give you some measurements to help you on deciding on accessories, such as ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers. more

Part number 75772 and this is what the hitch is gonna look like once you get it installed. It's gonna be pretty well tucked up on the sides but it's still gonna be a little bit visible here at the back center.One of the nice things that sets us apart from other hitches is the mounting location for your trailer wiring. It's still going to be visible from the bottom, although a lot of it's going to be tucked up underneath.This is a class two hitch. It has a 1/2" pin opening, which does not come with the hitch, but is available on our website with part number PC2. This is going to have a loop style safety chain holder, which is going to make it easy to install your safety chains at any angle. It has a welded on plate at the top for extra reinforcement, and also a reinforced collar.It has a 3,500 pound towing capacity, which is the weight that it pulls behind it and a 300 pound tongue weight, which is the weight pressing down on the receiver hitch.Now, I've got a few measurements to help you in deciding on accessories such as ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear bumper, it's going to be about 5-1/2". more
