Front Runner Cargo Rail Review- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Front Runner Cargo Rail. This is gonna be a short track that has the Front Runner eye nut on it, and that way you can put it pretty much anywhere and anchor down pretty much anything. With this being the short cargo rail, it's gonna be great for your cargo organization systems 'cause you can put this in different spots. Now for the track that's going to be 5 1/2 inches long, so that's how much space you have to move this eye nut back and forth. You can also get the longer cargo rail and that's gonna be the Front Runner 45 plus inch cargo rail, usually designed for your trailers and truck beds when you need more cargo organization. more

This is gonna provide a tie down point for securing your cargo on the wall or floor of your trailer, truck, or van. This can also be used in your shop, on the shop wall, or other flat surface. It does come with the one Front Runner eye bolt for tracks, and this will work great for your Front Runner stratchit or other tie down strap, those are not included, so you will have to provide those yourself, but it is gonna give you that nice solid connection point to make sure that your gear's gonna be where you need it to be when you get to your destination. So it's gonna go in your standard 2 x 4 sized stake pocket and give you an attachment point for your snap hooks. Let's check it out. The accessory here is gonna be 3 1/2" wide and 5 1/4" tall so this gives you a better idea if they're gonna work with your stake pocket or not, and we got a pin and clip at the bottom holding it in place. Now looking at the D-ring, it's gonna have a 2" diameter here so that's letting you know what kind of hook is gonna fit here to attach to it. more

What's up everybody. It's AJ with each etrailer.com, today we're gonna be checking out this tiedown anchor that goes in your stake pocket on your trailer and is from Pack Em. This would be an alternative method and you really don't want to do it this way. The hook is gonna go down there in the stake pocket but you're gonna notice this part of the strap here right there on the corner of the beam. There's gonna be a lot of stress put right there. So over time as that rubs down that could wear down the strap and cause issues. more

Hey guys, Kevin here on e trailer and today will be showing you how to install the Brophy swivel D ring with backing plate here on our enclosed work trailer. Our D rings here are one quarter inch thick by three quarter inch wide, and they swivel a full 360 degrees. So you can easily get whatever kind of strap you need in whatever position so that you can properly secure your cargo. These have a 2000 pound safe working load weight limit. Installation of our swivel D rings is super simple. Just put your backing plate on first and then your actual D ring. more

Now, this is a kit designed specifically by Let's Go Aero for their cargo carriers. If you need to tie down cargo like what we have here, we have boxes, we have bags and we wanna use straps, this is a great way to make an easy anchor point. Rather than going around the cargo carrier, you just bring it through the anchors and tighten it down. What you get with this kit are four anchors. So this does not include the bolts, as you see here, as well as the straps, you would have to get those two separately, but you do get these four anchors. more

Since these are surface mounted, you won't need to cut out a hole in your truck bed or your trailer bed. You just bolt them on and then you have a brand new attachment point for when you're carrying larger cargo items, whether you have your pallets like what we have here, or even your small vehicles. Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this removable tie down anchor set by Rapid Switch Systems. This set is going to provide you with these two, two and one quarter inch diameter flush mount receivers that will install into your trailer that will give you that attachment point for your anchors that will slide in and then twist into place to lock in. I'm not able to twist them currently because our receiver is not installed. So it's not giving me the leverage I need. But then your anchor is going to provide that place for you to hook on your bungee cords or straps to make sure that your four wheelers, motorcycles, ATVs, that sort of thing is gonna be strapped down properly. more

Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor Review- Video
Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy D-ring anchor point.Whenever you have a trailer, you're usually tying some stuff down to it. It's always nice to have a bunch of different anchor points to be able to tie stuff down to and whether it is a enclosed trailer or an outside trailer, it is going to be coated in a zinc plated material so it's not going to rust away over time. All in all for some of the more mid-size type loads that you may be hauling down, these are going to be able to put it up to the test, especially with our backing plate. And, the nice thing about it is we don't really have to worry about us tripping over it as it's pretty flush with the floor.First thing you want to do is figure out exactly where you want to get the tie-down point to be secured and we're going to have to drill out a hole. You'll need a hole saw for that. We're going to need a hole with a diameter of at least two and three quarter inches. more

Rapid Switch Systems Removeable Trailer Tie-Down Anchors Manufacturer Demo- Video
To start the easy installation process, select your tie down location. First, use a 1-1/4" hole saw to drill the hole for your receiver and seethe the receiver into the hole flush with the trailer deck. Second, drill out the four bolt holes and install the bolts through the receiver to locate the backing plate and use the supplied lock nuts to secure it into position. The third and last step is to simply insert one of the tie-down accessories into the Rapid Switch Systems Receiver, push firmly down and turn clockwise to lock in position. When not in use, once again, push down firmly and turn counter-clockwise to release. It's as simple as one, two, three. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy anchor tie down point. This is going to be a great way to get some lighter loads tied down and it's not going to be a toe stubber, so it really doesn't sit up a whole lot. You can step on it, you probably won't even notice that it's there.We could also mount it up on the wall just to kind of keep stuff up and out of the way. I like using this for some cables, keep it nice and wound up, to where we keep all of or floor space nice and open and everything is nice and organized. All in all, more tie down points in your trailer is definitely something I would like just because it can do more.But one thing to think about is this is going to be more of a lighter duty. more

It really limits you on your options to tie things down like this generator here in the middle. You wouldn't want to attach here because this isn't strong enough; it's going to pull this off. more

Review of Brophy Trailer Tie Down Anchors - Recessed Swivel D-Ring Anchor - RR6K- Video
Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchor Point for your enclosed trailer or utility trailer. This makes a really easy point to tie down any kind of cargo or accessories or vehicles in or on your trailer.It's going to recess mount into the floor, so you'll have to cut out a hole for that to sink down into. It does come with the hardware to get it installed and a backing plate so it should be a really stable sturdy point for you to lash anything down.Let's take a closer look at it and make sure it's the right fit for your particular application. The hardware is going to make it nice and flush it shouldn't cause any tripping hazards or be an issue whenever you're trying to roll things in or out of your trailer. The D-ring swivels around 360 degrees, flips on either side, so you're not limited there. That backing plate gives it some extra strength as well, so it should be nice and sturdy and stable and it is made out of a zinc plated steel, so you shouldn't have any worries about rust or corrosion over time.The hardware that comes with it, button head bolt with a lock washer and nut to really secure it down and cinch it into place. more

This is a very heavy duty bracket that's going to create one stake pocket for your flatbed, so you can build up those sidewalls to help control and contain all of your cargo.It does have a tapered design, so here at the top, it's right about three inches wide, and then down at the bottom, it's closer to two and seven eighths, just shy of three inches. It does taper down a little bit to give you that nice snug fit for any of your stakes in the stake pocket. This is going to work with most of your two by fours. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the CargoSmart bolt on removable D-ring tie down anchor with a 1,333 pound working load limit. Now this is a light duty D-ring, which provides a nice solid attachment point for ropes, straps, or bungees. This'll let you anchor push mowers, tillers, and other lightweight cargo on your truck bed, utility trailer, or enclosed cargo trailer. Basically this ring will rotate 360 degrees and it'll swivel 180 degrees so that you can attach a rope, strap, or bungee from multiple angles. It is a removable design. You can just simply unscrew to remove the D-ring from the shank. more

You can pick up more for each corner of your trailer or whatever you need.These light duty anchors are great for your truck beds, your trailer's, even your campers and RVs, really anywhere that you need a secure tie-down for any of your items that you keep with you all the time, or just stuff that you're hauling around temporarily. We're using these just to keep down some pallets that we're going to haul off. Since it is a light duty anchor, it has a safe working load limit of 466 pounds, and a maximum break strength of 1400 pounds, so you could use it for something heavier than our pallets here, like a small lawn mower or a tiller, maybe you need to take it over and do some work at a friend's house. more

We get questions here all the time about different cargo management systems and how to secure items down in your different trailers.What we're going to be taking a look at today is from Toe Racks. This is an anodized aluminum track, uses the L-Track connectors. And basically they're going to come in either 18 inch length or a 12 inch length, which we have here, and they provide you with a lot of connection points.Now, the biggest thing that sets these apart from all the other cargo management systems out there is the very compact size. You can see here with our 18 inch piece, we're able to secure this right off to the top of our utility trailer. And it really isn't ever going to be in the way.And you see it's over here to the side, up and out of the way, we don't have any connectors there until we need them. more

It gives us a 3667 pounds safe working load limit and it offers a really nice large D-ring that will allow you to connect many different-sized straps regardless of the hook type, with the exception of maybe the flat hooks. These are very common and widely used in many different applications, whether that's flatbeds and trucks, utility trailers, enclosed trailers. I like the idea of these because it allows us to have plenty of tie-downs all over our trailer, but they don't stick up where they're going to be in the way. Now, if you're using something wheeled, like the ranger we've got here, where you can just roll over them. But let's say you're trying to load a washer and a dryer, maybe a refrigerator or something that you kind of have to slide along, having connection points that stick up and over the surface of your trailer can generally cause those to hang up, then you got to kind of lift and rotate. more

This is going to be a great feature to add to any trailer that you might have, to be able to tie down things that the factory may not have had figured in. So for example, our trailer here has four factory D-rings. But our customer has a longer side-by-side, that it kind of skips over the factory D-rings. So we installed these for him, so that he can properly tie down the slope. more

CargoSmart Latching D-Ring Tie-Down Anchor Review- Video
Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at a latching D-Ring. Essentially, this gives us a lot of the benefits that we get from a standard D-Ring, but it offers a gate on the side. As you can see this gate is going to allow you to slide things in, like we've just hooked our strap around here, but if you had a cable with a loop on the end, maybe you had a rope you we're trying to go from one side of something to the other with it. It's very easy just to open that gate, place it in there and get it secure.Now, with that latching gate, we are going to have reduced capacity compared to a lot of the other quarter inch D-Rings like this. We've got one that doesn't have that gate it offers an 800 pounds safe working load limit, where this one is at a hundred pounds. But I do think this is going to serve a good purpose, whether it's just using it to clip items up on to hang, to get them up off the floor and out of your way. more

CargoSmart Anti-Rattle D-Ring Tie-Down Anchor Review- Video
Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. We've got all kinds of different cargo management solutions from E-Track, all the way, down to D-rings. That's what we're going to be taking a look at today. The thing I like about this, D-ring, it's a little bit different than most of them, because it's an anti-rattle type. So basically, on the bottom side, we install our D-ring just like normal, but you can see there's a little, thin plate of spring steel down here. That takes up the gap between our upper plate and our lower plate and assures us as we head down the road that this doesn't bounce around and rattle, and get really annoying. more

I think this D-ring's going to help you out in a lot of different either cargo management, or storage situations, enclosed trailers, boat trailers to hold down your top. You could even put a few of these on your garage wall on your dock wall, on your dock floor for strapping things down. Utility trailers, they're going to work out really well in as well. more

CargoSmart Quarter Inch D-Ring Tie-Down Anchor Review 348825- Video
Randy: Hey guys, Randy here at etrailer.Communicate. We get questions a lot from our customers about different tie down systems, so we're going to take a look at one today from Cargo Smart. This is a quarter inch. The ring has an 800 pound safe working load limit and you've got a nice large opening in it. This is going to be really handy for enclosed trailers, cargo trailers, boat docks, just about anywhere where you want to get something strapped down and because it is nice and compact, I think this would also be a good addition for a garage. You've got some items that you want to hang up to get them up off the floor or something like that. more
