etrailer Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Installation - 2023 Ford F-150- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and later be showing you how to install this etrailer soft roll-up tonneau cover on the back of our 2023 Ford F-150. Adding a tonneau cover to your F-150 is gonna be a great addition because it's gonna add a little bit of bed protection from things like the elements, it's gonna keep your stuff out of sight, it's gonna help a little bit with fuel economy at those higher highway speeds, and just generally, I think it adds a nice look to the truck. Now when it comes to tonneau cover options, you can separate them into two main categories, hard covers and soft covers. While the soft covers are not gonna provide as much protection for your bed, anyone can come through with a knife and cut through it and get to the stuff inside, if they're determined enough, it will still do those basic functions of keeping your stuff out of sight and out of mind. But more importantly, I think just offering that general weather protection, keeping rain and the elements from just totally barraging down on your stuff and keeping the bed covered up nice and neat. more

Now this can be a great option for ya, if you want a little bit more security on the back of your bed, if you are carrying any tools, and if you wanna keep a lot of that water and wind out of the back of your vehicle, just give you a better ride overall. So let's check it out. You're gonna have two types of tonneau covers, and your first type is gonna be a soft tonneau cover. Those are great if you just wanna keep any water or debris from the back of your bed, and maybe make your bed look a little nicer too. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this etrailer Adjustable Dual Ball Mount, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2023 Ford F-150. An adjustable ball mount is a great way to tow a variety of different trailers with different ride heights. All you gotta do is pull the included pins and clips from the side and we can slide the entire ball up and down this channel or flip it around to a different ball size to accommodate those different trailers. Whether we have a lower ride height that we want to tow level or we just need to switch to a different coupler size. more

Now folks, this is an image of what that looks like when it's installed using this bracket kit. Now this will provide an alternative location to mount a Batwing or a Foxwing awning on your Rhino-Rack heavy duty crossbars. The brackets bolt to the ends of your crossbars, like you see in the image, and then to the channels of the awning frame. Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our ditch brackets for the Rhino-Rack RLT600 Quick Mount legs. It requires 12-millimeter rivet mounts and it is for the roof of your vehicle that's naked. Now folks, these do provide a permanent fixed mounting points for the Rhino-Rack RLT600 Quick Mount legs, and those are sold separately. As I mentioned before, they do mount directly into the ditches of your vehicle's naked roof, meaning this naked roof means there's nothing on top, no crossbars, nothing. So you do have to do some drilling and you do have to attach these with the rivets. more

So folks, these adapters here will let you mount one Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow Crossbar onto your Rhino Rack RLTP Track-Mounted Legs. So it does work with the RL 100, the 150, 210, 280, and RLTF Legs, and it's gonna provide a stable platform from the mounting legs to the crossbar. What you'll do is you will help eliminate the gap between the top of the legs and the bottom of the bar with these. Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Dexter Fortress Threaded Aluminum Oil Cap. That's right, an aluminum oil cap. This guy is rated from 10,000 to 16,000 pound axles and it's gonna replace the oil cap O-ring and plug for the Dexter, Valcrum, and Lippert axles. I'll put those on numbers on the screen for you. Now this does have a nice black retainer ring that's gonna shield the viewing lens here, so you got those three little divots there, whatever you wanna call 'em, blocking that viewing shield against damage, so nothing should be able to get in there and break that. more

Now, this 3/8 inch diameter nylon brush is great for cleaning out your weld nuts on your vehicle's frames, so it makes your hitch installation go much easier. Also works great for cleaning and deburring any openings. If you notice on the very end right here, you can see it has this loop handle on the end. It'll help you maintain control of the brush, and you can see it has a straight stem design, so it allows you to get deeper into any of the holes or crevices. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT four pole trailer wiring harness on a 2020 Ford Edge. Now this is specifically for the SE and SEL models. Now if you're adding a hitch to your Edge, it's definitely worth picking up four pole trailer wiring harness and that's essentially to keep you safe and legal while going down the road. Even if you don't plan on pulling a trailer, it's nice to have this in place, that way, if for whatever reason you may need to tow a small trailer while you're moving or whatever it may be, you'll have this ready to go and that's gonna give you your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights on your trailer, keeping you safe and legal. And as far as the installation goes, this one uses a factory style plug that goes into the back of the taillights. So there's really not, you don't have to be a wiring expert to get this done. more

Today, we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier ST235/80R16 radial trailer tire in a load range E mounted on this 16 inch matte black aluminum wheel with the 6 on 5.5 inch bolt pattern. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and even campers. The wheel is a Sendel Series T17 aluminum wheel. This is a mesh style design wheel that has a matte black finish to it. Also, if you notice the front of the wheel and even the back of the wheel are clear coated for protection. more

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Lippert solid step RV steps. Now, these manually operated RV steps are going to make it easy to get in and out of your travel trailer or fifth wheel. You're simply going to fold them down for use and then when you're done, fold them back up for travel. Now, the entry height on these is gonna be 22 inches to 28 inches. And then the drop rise, let me retrieve my ruler here real quick and I can show you while we're here, the drop rise is going to be right about eight inches and this is going to work with the doorway width from 25 inches to 28 7/8 inches, and then a bracket width range from 23 inches to 31 13/16 inches. more

Now, folks, what this kit will do is it will let you mount that rack to the inside rails of your Toyota Tacoma, specifically designed for years 2005 through 2015. Now, this does include the toolbox mounts, and it gives you the attachment points for your crossover-style toolbox. You're gonna eliminate the need to drill into your truck bed rails by using this and then be able to mount a toolbox. So, again, it's specifically designed for the rack-mounting clamps, the toolbox mounts, and the hardware. more

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at your replacement 110 volt AC fan motor for your Ventline Ventadome roof vents. So folks, this will replace the fan motor on your Ventline 110 volt roof vent fan. I'll up a graphic there of kind of where it's at in that whole scheme of things. Now this does work with the Ventline Ventadome model V21228, and you could also hardwire it if you so choose to fit the V2265 models. Has a motor output of 0.77 amps at 120 volts of AC current. more
