And the hardened steel shackles are going to protect against bolt cutters and they measure 3/16" in diameter and the overall width is gonna be 3/4". And when locked, the height of the shackle is right at 7/8". There's a lot of ways you can lock up your stuff. Trimax Locks has a round combination lock. So what this is going to do, and it's any kind of latch like this, as long as it has a hole that is 3/8 inches in diameter, we go up here, we slide it forward to lock it up, and then we scramble a combination. I like this combination style because I lose things a lot. I don't wanna have to keep track of keys. And if you're owning a business, someone needs to get into the trailer, you have to meet up with them, give them your keys, and then whatever. more

Trimax Solid Brass Resettable Combination Padlock Review- Video
Check this out, everybody, we have the Trimax Combination Lock. This can be used for a lot of different things, locking up your propane tanks, or some of the other things on your trailer, or even your sports and rec stuff. What's nice about this is you don't have to carry any keys with you, you just need to remember a four-digit code. So right now, out of the box, the code is gonna be set at 000. Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Solid Brass Resettable Combination Padlock. This solid brass resettable combination padlock will help you guard your gear against theft, and this hardened 5/16 of an inch steel shackle is going to protect against bolt cutters, and this solid brass body is corrosion resistant. And as you see, this has a four digit resettable combination, it's gonna be convenient to use with no keys to lose, the only key that comes with this lock is the key to help you reset the combination to a code that would be easy for you to remember. So this does come, the combination does come defaulted to all zero, so currently, I have this set to 0001 to lock this pad lock, but let me go ahead and set this to the combination of all zeros, and then to open this, you're just going to depress the shackle, and then that's going to open very easy for you. Now, to change this to a code that you're going to remember easily, you're gonna take this reset key and insert it into that keyhole, and then you're going to push in rather firmly, and then you can turn in either direction, 90 degrees, and now, it is in set mode is what I call it, so you can go ahead and set the new combination, so I'm gonna set it to something that I can easily remember, 123, and you've guessed it, final digit, four, so my new combination is 1234, and then I'm gonna go ahead and turn that key back, there we go, and remove it, and now, my new combination of 1234 is set. I'm gonna insert the shackle in the lock and just change one of these numbers here, there we go, and now, it is locked. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood AMPlock Padlocks. This is the two pack, they are keyed alike, part number is AT89019. The Atwood locks really provide us with maximum security. These two accents is going to include you two locks and also four keys. Now the keys, they have a unique style, something that really can't be recreated or reproduced. As you can see, this uses a rotating disc style tumbler, so it's really going to provide us with that maximum security, makes it very, very hard to bump, very hard to pick, and they'd even provided a hardened washer, right here in the bottom that is very thick, and that prevents drilling into the lock cork itself to help prevent tampering. The body of the lock, this is going to be a hardened, stainless steel. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Master Lock covered, solid body padlock. These are sold as a quantity of two; the part number is 141T. As you can see the lock itself has a nice vinyl covering, goes all the way around it. We've got a chrome lever here that you push down and it allows you to slide your zippers right on there, securing them. It's going to come preset from the factory with a 000 combination. Today we're here at our enclosed trailer and we're going to be taking a look at the Diversi-Tech 3-pack puck locks. It's part number DT40124KA3PK. These are stainless steel puck-style locks and they do use a tube style key. The kit will come with three locks total. They are all keyed the same, as well as you'll get a total of six keys. We've already gone and ahead and installed one lock here on our side door on our enclosed trailer. This particular trailer has three locking parts on our doors so we've gone ahead and also installed one here, the rear door, and then we still have one more location to put a lock on. more

By the lock being made out of a hardened steel, it resists cutting and sawing of the lock. The lock itself has a high-security anti-pick style cylinder, you can see here by the key design. This is the High Security Stainless Steel Padlock from Diversi-Tech, part number DT40122. The padlock features a 3/8 inch diameter shackle and, when opened, the shackle leaves a 7/8 inch opening. The outside of the lock is stainless steel and the inner parts of the lock and the shackle are created from chrome plated hardened steel. The inside mechanism is made of brass. To use the lock, a simple notch key is used to open the shackle. You can fit this over your hasp or lock, turn the key and lock it into place. These locks are great for enclosed trailers, toolboxes, or anything else that will fit in a 3/8 diameter shackle.
