Now these lights are designed to fit the six inch oval grommet, which is very common and very popular in a lot of utility style trailers.The thing I like about this one the most is that it's completely weatherproof. With LED lights like this, we don't really necessarily have any bulbs and sockets, or anything like that, to deal with, so they can seal up the back of that light, make sure no moisture gets into this housing at all and causes us issues. more

What I like about these lights compared to a lot of the other ones, they've got an LED for the backup light. So by running one additional wire and plugging it in here on the backside, anytime we hit reverse, we're going to have some light behind us to see and also indicate to people that we are backing up. Now, generally with trailers, when you're backing up at nighttime, a lot of times you'll keep your foot on the brake and just kind of drag the brake a little bit so it kind of lights up behind, at least that's a strategy I take. more

Peterson LED Combination Tail Light Review and Installation- Video
Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a set of lights from Peterson. Now these are your standard square style light, the ones that are going to mount on the two inch centered studs. And these are designed for use really on any type of trailer but especially trailers over 80 inches. They're going to meet the standards for that and comply to that regulation. Hi guys. It's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at a set of Peterson Utility Trailer Lights. These are designed with the two inch studs that come off the back, designed to mount to a lot of trailers. And while these will work for just about any trailer out there on the road, they're pretty specifically designed for trailers over 80 inches wide. They meet all the requirements there so we can get out on the road with those trailers and ensure that we don't have to worry about getting any tickets because our lights aren't right. more

Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip Review- Video
Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the Optronics flexible LED strip lights. Now the lights we have on now are going to be the blue lights, they're also going to be available in white if you prefer white on whatever side-by-side, golf cart, whatever you're going to be using it for.If you're using it for your camper you may want a pure white light to be able to just see better. Now these on our golf cart application are going to give our golf cart a little bit more style when we're driving around the golf course or just around town. Now our LED strips are going to be 17 feet in length and have 300 diodes. Now it's at 17 feet of length, you may not need the whole length so you can cut the strip on any of the designated cut spots. more

Optronics Combination Trailer Tail Light Review and Installation- Video
Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a square light from Optronics.This is an incandescent light, designed to give you your tail lights, right, turn and brake, left, turn and brake. And on the driver's side, it even has a panel here on the bottom that illuminate the license plate. Something I really like about it, not only do we have the light function, but we also have built in reflectors. It'll go all the way around the outside of the housing here and here on the side. So, we don't have to worry about having those additionally.Now, these are going to be best suited for any trailer that's under 80 inches wide. more

Optronics Tail Light for Trailers Over 80 inches Wide Review and Installation- Video
Randy: Hey guys, Randy here at etrailer.com. So we're going to be taking a look at an incandescent square light from Optronics. Now, these are designed and suited for use on just about any type of trailer, but they do meet the DOT compliance factors for trailers over 80 inches wide. I think these are going to be very good on most of your utility trailers and things like that, out there. Since it is incandescent and not submersible, I don't think it's going to be ideal for boat trailers and things like that. But outside of that, if you've got a square type light, it's going to use the standard two-inch bolt pattern or two-inch studs in the back, and it should just be a direct replacement, especially with the push to connect that we have on the back, just strip off your wires and plug them into the appropriate hole and the light's going to work well for you.Now, driver and passenger side are going to be a little bit different. more

Review of Peterson Trailer Lights - Clearance Lights - 164A- Video
Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Peterson Pirahna LED Trailer Light. This light can serve as a clearance light or a side marker light, depending on where you have it installed on your trailer. It's got an amber lens over top your three white LED diodes, and the LEDs are going to be a great replacement for your incandescent lights. They're going to last a lot longer, up to 50 times longer than your incandescent lights. They're also going to be more efficient. more
