Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the etrailer Class III custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number E98846. Here's what our hitch is gonna look like. The cross tube is gonna pretty well hidden behind the bumper, so all we're gonna see is that receiver tube sticking out.Our hitch is gonna have that nice carbine, flat black finish to it, so it is gonna blend in nicely on the bottom of the bumper. It is a Class III hitch, which means it's gonna give us that 2 in x 2 in receiver hitch opening, opening up a lot of doors for a lot of different accessories.The way we're gonna mount any of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is gonna accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Speaker 1: Today in this 2012 Nissan Versa hatchback we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw Tite class one trailer hitch receiver, part number 24798.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you'll notice about this hitch, it's tucked up nice and tight against our fascia giving us the most ground clearance possible, which is great because this car is fairly low to the ground. Now even though our hitch rests up tight against the bottom of the fascia we still have plenty of clearance around our receiver opening, which makes this a great hitch to use with your bike racks and your cargo carriers.On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 1/2 inch diameter hitch pin hole, which you can use to secure your hitch mounted accessories with a pin and clip, which we have available separately on our website as part number PC2. On the bottom of our receiver are rolled steel safety chain loops. What's great about these is even if you have a very large diameter safety chain hook like this one, you can still clip on and clip off easily. This hitch features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating and a 2,000 pound max gross trailer weight rating. more

Speaker 1: Today in this 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part Number C13377.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One of the first things you'll notice about this hitch, is that we have plenty of clearance around the receiver, which makes this a great hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers, which is one thing that many of our customers are using a hitch for on their Rogue Sport.The other thing you'll notice, the only part of the hitch that's hanging down is the actual receiver itself. The rest of it is completely hidden behind our rear fascia, giving us a nice clean look on a rogue.On the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pin hole to use a separate pin and clip to secure your hitch-mounted accessories. We have pins and clips available for you on our website.On the bottom of our receiver you'll find the rolled steel safe chain loops. What's nice about these, is that even if you have a large hook, such as this one, you can still easily clip on and clip off.On the end of the receiver is this collar that's molded on. Not only does this give us a nice finished look, but it also does help improve the strength of this receiver opening.This hitch features a 525-pound max tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3500-pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount it can pull.It does not support the use of weight distribution, so just keep that in mind if you're planning to use that with your trailer. more

First thing you notice about this hitch is that there's plenty of clearance around the receiver opening; which makes this a great hitch for using it with plight grafts and charter carriers; which is one thing we've noticed most of our customers are purchasing a hitch for on their Rogue Sport.Now, the one part you see on this hitch hanging down is the actual receiver itself. The rest of it is completely hidden behind a rear fascia, which gives us a nice clean looks on our vehicle. On the side of the receiver, you'll find two pinholes. The larger one, closest to the front of the vehicle, that's our industry standard 5/8th of an inch diameter hitch pinhole they use a pin and clip for it to secure your hitch panel accessories. Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Nissan Altima we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part number C11352.So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. That cross tube is going to sit right below the bumper, but the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out. Now it is a class one which means it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening and it's going to be great for bike racks or even cargo carriers.As far as the safety chain connection points go, it's going to be a plate style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube and as you can see we're not going to have too much trouble getting most size hooks on or off and slight off set from our hitch pin hole means we're not going to have to worry about interference with our hooks, with a locking device or the hitch pin itself.Our hitch is going to have a 200 pound towing weight, which is going to be the maximum downward force at the receiver tube. It's also going to have a 2000 pound gross trailer weight rating which is the amount it can pull including the trailer and everything you have loaded on it. Now with all those numbers in mind, you always want to double check your Nissan's owner's manual and never exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight. Now if you do plan on doing some light duty towing, keep in mind there are specific ball mounts available and designed for this hitch, and you can pick them up here at etrailer.com.There are two euro style draw bars with permanently attached balls on them. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2016 Nissan NV 2500, we're gonna be installing CURT's class four two inch trailer hitch receiver, part number C14000, and this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed.As you can see, the cross tube is gonna be a little bit visible underneath the bumper, and you're gonna be able to see the receiver sticking out almost flush with the bumper there.This is a class four two inch by two inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all your towing needs, from trailers, bike racks, or anything extra heavy duty, this one's gonna be able to handle it.It feature plate style safety chain loops and it has a decent size opening on it that should accommodate most size safety chains.It uses a five eighths inch hitch pin. Now, one does come included with the kit, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com.It features a 1,000 pound tongue weight, that's the force going down on the receiver. And a 10,000 pound gross towing capacity, and that's how much it can pull behind it.And when using a weight distribution system, it's going to increase the tongue weight to 1,200 pounds and the gross towing capacity to 12,000 pounds.You do wanna check your vehicle's owners manual to ensure you're not exceeding its towing capacities.And now, to help you on deciding on accessories, I've got some measurements for you. From the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube, it measures about 15 and a half inches. This is important when deciding if you need drop, rise, or raise shank on your accessory.From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the rear bumper, it's gonna measure about three inches. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Many of our customers have been surprised how easy this hitch is to install, even with having no mechanical experience. Also, several of them have mentioned how great of a hitch it is to use with Class 3 accessories. Many have even sent us pictures of them using it with their bike racks.You'll notice that this hitch sits up tight against our fascia to maximize ground clearance. One thing that our customers have stated about this hitch they really like is that this hitch does have a higher tongue weight capacity than the other hitch options out there. This gives them the ability to load more weight on with a cargo carrier or having a more sense of a security when using it with a bike rack.One thing that I really like about this hitch is how close it sits to our fascia here, giving us as much ground clearance as possible underneath the hitch but yet still making it easily accessible and easy to use. Also, our receiver here is closer to the back end of the fascia, but it still sits behind it. Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be installing the Curt Class 2 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C12122.This Class 2 1-1/4 inch receiver, is great for hooking up bike racks, cargo carriers, and for light towing.The cross tube's going to be tucked up nicely below the bumper, so you won't really be able to see it, all you'll be able to see is your receiver tube sticking out the back here.It comes with a pin and clip, so you can hook up your accessories right away. It features loop style safety chain hoops, so you can connect your stuff securely, feel confident when going down the road. It has a reinforced collar, for extra durability. It features a 350 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver tube, and a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight, which is the pulling force behind it.Curt does recommend that you use a stabilization strap when hauling any none trailer loads. This is essentially anything that doesn't have wheels.I've got a few measurements to help you when deciding on accessories. From the top inside edge of the receiving tube to the ground, it's going to measure 14-1/4 inches. more

This class 2-1 and a quarter inch receiver hitch is gonna be great for carrying bike racks, cargo carriers, and hauling light trailers.The cross tube is gonna be hidden behind the bumper so you won't be able to see it, you'll only see the receiver tube sticking out the back. It uses a half inch fitch pen, now this doesn't come with the hitch but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com using part number PC2. It has large hoop style safety chain hooks so it should accommodate just about any size chain that you've got to hook on there.It has a reinforced collar for extra durability and features a 300 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver tube, and 3,500 pound gross trailer rate, which is the pulling force behind it.I've got some measurements for you to help when deciding on accessories. From the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube, it's gonna be 14 and quarter inches. This is an important measurement to determine if you need a drop or rise when hauling a trailer or if you need a raise shank with your bike rack or cargo carrier. more

The cross tube is going to be hidden, mainly behind the bumper here and all we're really going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. And since it's a class 3, it's going to give us that two by two inch receiver tube opening which is going to have plenty of options and accessories available for it.Draw-Tite went ahead and added a reinforced collar on their hitch which not only gives it added strength but it gives it a nice clean, finished look. Our hitch is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip which is going to be the forward most hole here. They're not included, but you can pick up one on our website using part number PC3. The secondary hole towards the back of the receiver here, that's going to be for the J pin stabilization device which is going to be great if any of your accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle. more

So here's what our hitch looks like when it's fully installed. The cross T is mainly gonna be hidden behind our bumper here, and all we're really gonna see is the receiver tube sticking out. It is a class three hitch, which means it's gonna give us that two inch, by two inch receiver tube opening and as you can see it has a nice reinforced collar not only giving it added strength, but also a nice clean look. Since it is a class three, there's gonna be many, many accessories available for that two inch receiver.Just gonna use a standard five ace pinning clip to secure your wall mount or any other accessories, it's not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now you see the same connections are gonna be a loop style welded into the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see we're gonna have plenty of room to get those size hooks on or off, and not have to worry about interfering with our pinning clip, or if you have a locking pinning clip, or anti-rail device.The thing I really like about this hitch besides that the cross tube is mainly hidden behind our bumper is also when comparing it to other hitches it does have a much higher tongue weight, which is gonna allow us to have a bigger bike rack, or even a cargo carrier and not have to worry about exceeding the manufacturer's rating.Now we're just gonna feature a 525 pound tongue weight, along with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

What's great about this hitch is that it's mostly hidden behind our rear bumper. The only part that you'll see is the actual Class III 2" receiver itself hanging down below our bumper. Now, this hitch has a very factory-like appearance, and that's because of our safety chain plates that we have welded to the back of our receiver. These come in at an angle and they're easy to hook up to, and they have a large diameter opening to make it easy to hook on most safety chains from our trailers.We have two holes on the side of our receiver. The larger diameter one closer to the front of the vehicle, that's our industry standard 5/8" diameter pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories with a pin and clip. more

As you can see, the hitch does sit nice and tucked in underneath the bumper, so you're not going to have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the vehicle. What's great about this hitch is that it's completely hidden behind our rear bumper. The only part of the hitch that you'll see hanging down is our actual class III 2 by 2 inch receiver. On the bottom of our hitch welded to it are our tubular steel safety chain loops to attach our safety chains from our trailer.
