etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Etrailer trailer hitch on a 2022 Nissan Rogue. And this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is, it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that's gonna be visible is the usable part of the hitch, so you get all the function, but, you really don't detract away from the OEM look of the vehicle. And this one is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which means you're gonna have tons of options when it comes to bike racks, ball mounts, or cargo carriers. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, now this does not come with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick up accessories, though, they'll have a pin and clip included. If you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle, whether it be a bike rack or cargo carrier, I recommend picking up a locking version, which we have here available ETrailer. And that way you can leave your accessories on, locked in place, and know that no one's gonna walk away with them. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on our 2022 Nissan Rogue. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your vehicle, and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning a good majority of the hitch is hidden behind the fascia. And really the only thing that's hanging out is gonna be the business end of the hitch. So you get a great look with all the functionality of your hitch. Now this is an 1 1/4-inch receiver tube opening, so if you already have 1 1/4 accessories, this is gonna work great. Something I will say though, you're limited when it comes to some of the accessories you may wanna pick up. more

This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and this is a two-inch-by-two-inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great because when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, there's tons of options available and all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. This is not included with the hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with one. If you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle, you might wanna look at a locking pin and clip. That way you can leave your accessories on locked in place and know that no one's gonna walk away with them. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, nice and open. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT 1 1/4-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Nissan Rogue. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it's a hitting cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see is the receiver opening and the safety chain loops on your hitch. So you get a nice clean OEM look with all the functionality of having a trailer hitch. Now, this one is an 1 1/4-inch receiver tube opening, so this is a little bit smaller than the standard two inch, so you might be a little bit limited when it comes to ball mounts, cargo carriers, and bike racks. But if you already have those accessories, this is gonna be a great option. Now, CURT, as well as a few other manufacturers, offer a two-inch version of pretty much the same hitch that I would maybe prefer if this is your first hitch and you don't have any accessories. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it's gonna be a hidden cross tube, so that means this whole portion of the hitch will not be visible, the only thing that you're gonna have that you can see from the back is gonna be your two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is really nice, 'cause you get all the usability, but still a nice clean look. Now, being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening means there's a ton of different options available as far as bike racks, cargo carriers, ball mounts, or whatever accessory you may be loading up, but all of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now, this does not come with the hitch, you can pick one of those up here at etrailer, especially a locking one, that's really nice, but a lot of times, your accessories, when you pick those up, will come with one. Now, we do have a rolled-style open safety chain loop here, nice and easy for your standard S-hooks, even a larger clevis-style hook is gonna go on here nice and easy. And speaking of towing, as far as weight capacities go, this one is rated fairly decent, you have a gross trailer weight rating of 3,500 pounds, which is gonna be the weight of the trailer, plus the accessories loaded onto it. more

Now, the Nissan Rogue is already a very versatile vehicle to do many different things with, and adding a trailer hitch receiver to your Nissan Rogue is gonna make it that much more versatile. With the two inch by two inch hitch receiver tube opening, it's gonna give you a lot more options for accessories rather than an inch and a quarter hitch receiver. The etrailer hitch is gonna have this nice tough black powder coat finish to resist rust and corrosion. The safety chain loops are going to be an oval style safety chain loop to accept many different sized hooks for whatever small trailers that you wanna tow. more

Hi there Rogue owners. Taking your 2011 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer.com's Class 3, 2-Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver.And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is mostly hidden behind our bumper here. The little bit does stick down, but for the most part, you're not going to see it. Mostly just the receiver here at the back. And the receiver is kind of long to me, it does stick out a bit, but it doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much.It's a Class 3, 2-Inch by 2-Inch Receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you want to put accessories in it, such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. more

Great for some of those bike racks, smaller cargo carriers, or if we wanted to do some light duty towing.Now either way, the way we're going to mount any of our accessories to our hitch is we're going to use the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. Now these are not included with the kit, but you can pick them up at etrailer.com along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure.Now if you do plan on doing some light duty towing, maybe you're towing a boat trailer or a jet ski trailer, we're going to have somewhere to put our safety chains, and our connection point is going to be a loop style, welded to the bottom the receiver tube, and as you can see, we'll have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off.As far as the weight capacity is concerned, our hitch is going to have a 300 pound towing weight. more

This will be good for some bike racks, smaller cargo carriers or light duty towing.The way we're going to mount all of our accessories is the hitch has a hole here in the side and it is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed in our Rogue. The cross tube's gonna be hidden pretty well behind the bumper and all we're gonna see is that receiver tube sticking out.What's really gonna set our etrailer hitch apart from others is gonna be the finish on it. It's gonna have a nice flat black carbine finish opposed to the high gloss finish you see on most hitches. This is gonna help hide a lot of the dirt and scratches a lot better and it's just gonna blend in nicely with the black underbody panel here at the bottom. It's a Class 3 hitch, means it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have a lot of different options for accessories that we can mount up.The way we're gonna mount any of the accessories we choose to use is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. more

It is a class three hitch, means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and we're going to have a lot of different options whenever it comes to accessories to mount up.The way we're gonna mount any of our accessories to the larger hole towards the front of our vehicle, and it's gonna accept a standard five ace pin and clip. The secondary hole towards the receiver tube opening here is going to be exclusively for the J pin stabilization device, and that's going to be nice for any of those accessories that don't have a built-in anti rattle to keep the noise down whenever you're driving down the road.Our safety chain connection point is gonna be a loop style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see, we're going to have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off. more

It features loop style safety chain hoops, so you can connect your stuff securely, feel confident when going down the road. It has a reinforced collar, for extra durability. It features a 350 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver tube, and a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight, which is the pulling force behind it.Curt does recommend that you use a stabilization strap when hauling any none trailer loads. This is essentially anything that doesn't have wheels.I've got a few measurements to help you when deciding on accessories. From the top inside edge of the receiving tube to the ground, it's going to measure 14-1/4 inches. more

This class 2-1 and a quarter inch receiver hitch is gonna be great for carrying bike racks, cargo carriers, and hauling light trailers.The cross tube is gonna be hidden behind the bumper so you won't be able to see it, you'll only see the receiver tube sticking out the back. It uses a half inch fitch pen, now this doesn't come with the hitch but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com using part number PC2. It has large hoop style safety chain hooks so it should accommodate just about any size chain that you've got to hook on there.It has a reinforced collar for extra durability and features a 300 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver tube, and 3,500 pound gross trailer rate, which is the pulling force behind it.I've got some measurements for you to help when deciding on accessories. From the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver tube, it's gonna be 14 and quarter inches. This is an important measurement to determine if you need a drop or rise when hauling a trailer or if you need a raise shank with your bike rack or cargo carrier. more

Now you see the same connections are gonna be a loop style welded into the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see we're gonna have plenty of room to get those size hooks on or off, and not have to worry about interfering with our pinning clip, or if you have a locking pinning clip, or anti-rail device.The thing I really like about this hitch besides that the cross tube is mainly hidden behind our bumper is also when comparing it to other hitches it does have a much higher tongue weight, which is gonna allow us to have a bigger bike rack, or even a cargo carrier and not have to worry about exceeding the manufacturer's rating.Now we're just gonna feature a 525 pound tongue weight, along with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13204. The only part visible of our hitch is the actual Class III 2" receiver itself and our safety chain loops that are welded onto the bottom of it. The rest of it is hidden behind our fascia. Now, our safety chain loops are a tubular steel design. It's welded to the bottom of the receiver. We have a fairly large opening, so we shouldn't have much problem, if any at all, hooking the hooks of our safety chains from our trailer onto them. On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. At the end of our receiver we have this nice collar that's welded on to help reinforce the hitch and give it a nice finished look underneath our vehicle. This hitch features a 525-pound max gross tongue weight rating, which is the amount forcing down, and a 3,500-pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount you can pull. more

Our safety chain loops here are a round, tubular steel design. We got a fairly large size opening here so we shouldn't have any problems hooking on any of our safety chain hooks onto them from our trailers. On the side, we'll have our industry standard half inch diameter hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch mounted accessories that we may have. It's going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip, which is not included, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, the second smaller hole in the front is for the J-pin stabilization device, which you can also pick up on our website, and that's for any accessories that don't have their own anti-rattle device built in. The safety loops are nice. There's plenty of room to attach any hooks and they're made out of a rolled stock steel, and as you can see, you're not going to have to worry about any interference getting your hooks on or off. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver, offering the 1 1/4" by 1 1/4" opening. This part number is C12122. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, we're going to have a hidden cross tube, so we don't have a big, wide hitch here in the back of the vehicle. All we're really adding visually is going to be the receiver tube opening itself and our safety chain connection points. Overall, not changing the look of the vehicle too much. We've got safety chain connection points here, these are made out of a rolled style steel. Plenty of room in there for making our connections. more
