Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today on our 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, I'm going to walk through how to install Draw-Tite Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This Draw-Tite Hitch is going to give you a few more options than some of the other ones out there. One, it's going to give you a little bit higher weight capacity than some of the other Class 3s, and it's going to come with a pre-welded bracket so if you wanted to add wiring, anything like that, this bracket you wouldn't have to purchase. Another nice thing about this hitch is it's going to have a round tube design, as opposed to some of the other ones that have a square tube design. Square tube designs, they run straight across where this one angles back a little bit. more

From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is two and a half inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 16 inches.
