Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2011 to 2017 Honda Odyssey. And up top here, we're going to have our Draw-Tite. It's gonna be a class three hitch. Right below that, we're going to have our eco hitch, which is also a class three. And below that, we'll have our etrailer class three hitch. And then finally, at the bottom, we're going to have our curt class three hitch.If I was looking for a hitch for my Odyssey, I would go with the Draw-Tite for a few different reasons, but let's take a closer look at why and all the other features of our other hitches. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we're going to be installing etrailer's Class III 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part number E98862.And this is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. You are going to be able to see the cross tube here at the back but it's tucked up pretty far underneath, so it's not too noticeable.It's a Class III, 2" by 2" hitch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. From bike racks to cargo carriers to trailers, it'll handle whatever you need.It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now, the hitch doesn't come with the pin and clip but you can pick one up here on our website.It features plate style safety chain loops. Now, these do have a pretty small opening but it should accommodate most safety chains and it features a durable matte finish. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three trailer hitch receiver, part number 76025.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now what many of our customers with Honda Odysseys have complained about is that the other hitches on the market for the Odyssey, they hang down really low underneath the fascia. This one, however, is a completely different story. It's tucked up completely behind our fascia, giving us better looks, and also improving the ground clearance on the vehicle. So we don't have to worry about the hitch dragging on the ground, ever pulling in a steep driveway, or going up a steep incline.On the side of our receiver, you'll find two pin holes. The one closest to the front of the vehicle, which is the larger diameter hole, is our industry standard 5/8 of an inch standard hitch pin hole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, were going to install the Hidden Hitch, part number 87479. All right, this is what it will look like with the hitch installed. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as a draw bar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11 1/2 inches.Now lets go ahead with the installation. Our first step is actually to remove the underbody trim panel here on the driver side. more
