Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller Installation - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Tow-Pro Liberty proportional brake controller on a 2016 Ram 1500. Now, this is what our brake controller looks like when it's installed and you can see, it takes up very little real estate. And in fact, we're able to find a nice little pocket here and it's gonna be super accessible for the driver to actually adjust and manually override on the brakes. And that's gonna be really great because normal brake controllers kinda sit down here where your knees are, and generally you just kinda bump them when getting in and then sometimes reaching down to actually do the manual override can kinda be cumbersome. And that's the great part about the Redarc is small space but also very easy to use. more

So the Prodigy3 is gonna have a little bit more options than some of your standards but the standard type of features with the brake controller is, we're gonna have our adjustments. So it goes all the way up to 12.8, but that's for your bigger stuff and then you can go down as far as you want. You can click okay right here. And then we have a little slider which is on the bottom, a little bit different than before but you're gonna have that with all your other direct controllers, your manual override. more

One, we have no neat knockers down here which is kind of annoying but also all you have to do is plug it in and hide it underneath the dash. So you don't have to look at it either. Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2019 Honda Passport- Video
Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Primus IQ Proportional Brake Controller on a 2019 Honda Passport. Now this is a proportional brake controller and what that means is, as you slow down with your vehicle, the trailer's gonna do the same and once you fine tune it with your gain, you should be able to get those brakes to work well with the vehicle, making a smooth operation. Now what's nice too, is you can actually have proportioning with your manual slide. So if the trailer's starting to get a little bit swirly and swaying around, you can lightly put the brakes on and then if you really need them to slow down you can push a little bit more and you're gonna get that actual full level of gain. So and if you ever need more, you can just simply turn your knob and you can see that the gain actually changes there. more

So the CURT Echo is actually one of my favorite brake controller options on the market. And the reason for this, it's so much easier to install than all the other controllers. With the Echo we don't have to drill into the dash to mount a controller. Therefore we don't have to worry about banging our knees on it. A lot of the traditional brake controllers they take up a good amount of space on the dash, and it seems like the interior on most newer vehicles is getting smaller and smaller. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer.com. And today, we're installing and looking at the REDARC brake controller on a 2022 Ford F-250. So looking at the brake controller, you're gonna see footprint alone is what makes this stand out from other brake controllers. Many other ones you mount underneath the dash or in a location that's easily accessible, but they tend to be bulky and hang down, and you catch your legs or knees or anything in the way as you get into the truck. Also, sometimes they can be hard to actuate, whereas this one is right where I need it to be. more
