Now our B&W Gooseneck Hitch is going to allow us to tow a Gooseneck Trailer and safely get down the road. But at the same time, whenever we're not towing our Gooseneck we can actually remove the ball and we'll have full bed access. And because of the design, we can actually store the ball inside the receiver tube here so we'll have a clean look and we won't have to worry about finding somewhere else to put the ball. Now this is a nice sturdy and reliable fifth wheel hitch at an affordable cost and it's perfect for short bed trucks because this hitch has a slider that will move the hitch and the kingpin 10" closer to your tailgate for increased turning clearance, so this will enable your short bed truck to make normal turns during slow speed maneuvers and in narrow spaces without the fear of the trailer's overhang hitting the cab of your vehicle.This does use a rounded slide bar single jaw system which will automatically latch around the trailer's kingpin. It offers improved low management and ride when compared with similar models. The head on this is a nice four-way pivoting head. It helps with the trailer hookup. more

It uses a slide bar jaw to secure your king-pin in the hitch and it has open sides on the head here to allow for the king-pin to swing without hitting sides of the head.Now it is adjustable to match your application. Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video
Today on our 2018 Ram 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing prep-package.This is what our Reese 5th Wheel Hitch looks like when it's installed in our truck. This is going to allow us to easily hook up to the king pin on our 5th wheel trailer. A nice thing about this, is this is designed to work with our factory puck system.This curved hitch is going to have a nice wide base. Constructed of forged steel with a nice black powder coat finish that's going to resist any rust or corrosion. Each foot can be easily adjusted to lock into our factory puck system. Our center section allows us to adjust the height of our head by giving us 2-1/2" of adjustability.For our head they've allowed us a have wide opening here at the front that's going to allow us to hook up to our king pin very easily even if we're at an angle. more

Today we're going to take a look at the BMW Turnover Ball Under Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch. It has a 30,000 pound weight capacity. Now this is a heavy duty under bed hitch that will let you tow your gooseneck trailer, and what's nice is with this BMW Turnover Ball Under Bed Gooseneck Hitch, you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the turnover ball creates a nice sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer and then when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get a full truck bed access and clean appearance. Basically to do that all you have to do is take this access handle, pull it into the open position, take your ball out, flip it right over, there's a little handle on the bottom of it, flip it upside down, drop it back into the hitch, release the handle, and it's locked into place. This is under the bed, so you have full truck bed access.Now on the end of this handle there's a 5/8 inch thick spring loaded steel locking pin on the end of the handle. more

Demco Hijacker Underbed Rail and Kit Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to review and install the Underbed Rail Installation Kit for a Demco Hijacker UMS fifth wheel and gooseneck trailer hitches, part number DM8551010.This is what the rails look like when they're installed under the truck. You can see we got the two cross rails going from left to right, and they sit on the frame below the bed. Let's check out on the bed of a truck, and we have our hitch already in place. It's kind of integral for installation by the way, but we take a look down here. All we have is four holes drilled in the bed, two inch diameter holes, very easy to do, and your hitch sits right in there. The big plus about this setup is, is that when you take your hitch out, you have full access to your bed.Now these base rails will fit a variety of Demco products, including all the auto slide pitches they offer. more

Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Demco hijacker autoslide. This is a fifth wheel trailer hitch with automatic slider. Part number is DM8550037.Now, the autoslide from Demco is really designed to take a lot of the headaches out of hauling our fifth wheel campers with a short bed truck like this. Essentially, the older styles of slider, every time you needed to maneuver, parking lots, tighter spaces, you had to get our of your truck, release the handle, slide the head back, and then make sure it was locked back in.In this case, that entire function is going to be completely automatic. When we start to maneuver at slow speeds, there's a rack and pinion system right inside the head. The pin box is going to be captured between these two plates, and as we turn it, it automatically rotates rearward. more

Today on our 2015 GMC Sierra 2500, we're going to be taking a look at the inaudible 00:00:04 hijacker auto slide fifth wheel trailer hitch. Part number DM850034.This hitch is going to provide you with 18,000 pounds gross weight rating, it's going to give you 14 inches of travel to the very back, it's going to have a single jaw system which makes for a tighter fit around your king pin.To activate the jaw system, when hooking up to your trailer, you simply pull the safety pin and clip, slide your handle out, and you'll see how the draw spreads apart. Once you lock the handle open, when you back your king pin in, or back up to your trailer, it's going to spread this apart just a little bit. What it's going to do, it's going to put pressure on this side, which is going to release the handle lock and allow the jaw to close.You're going to have guide rails here and that's what sets this apart from others. These guide rails can be adjusted depending on the size of your pin box. All you would do is once you have your pin box, or you're attached to your fifth wheel, you're going to take these rails, going to loosen them up, slide them in, up against your pin box and then tighten them back into place. more

Today in our 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty you're going to be taking a look at, I'm sure you have it installed, the Reese Elite Series Under Bed Rail Adapter for standard fifth wheel trailer hitches, part number RP-30156.This is where our above bedrail kit looks like when it's installed. What is one of the reasons why we would need one of these Let's say we have an older truck. In our old truck we had an above bed rail kit and we had a fifth wheel hitch. However, we went out and bought a new truck and our new truck is equipped with an under bed kit. Rather than going out and spending that extra money on a new hitch to mount in our factory under bed kit, we can pick up this rail kit, mount it directly to that under bed kit and that gives us an above bed rail kit that's going to allow us to utilize our old fifth wheel hitch.This above bed rail kit will handle 15, 16, and even 20 thousand pound weight capacity fifth wheel hitches. Each wheel is going to have two slots on the end to help accommodate different sized fifth wheel hitches.Your handles are going to lock into place to keep your rails from disconnecting from your bed. more

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the BMW Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for fifth wheel trailer hitches. This is going to allow you to mount your fifth wheel trailer hitch into your truck. It's going to be an above-bed design, that means that the base rail is going to sit above the bed, and it will take up a little bit of space in that truck bed since they are permanently mounted. We'll have the two base rails that will come with our kit, along with the four angle brackets that are going to attach to our frame. We're going to have the shorter two that are go towards the rear of the vehicle, while the longer two will go towards the cab or the front of the vehicle.This is a universal mount, so there will be some drilling required with this. It should work for most applications even if you have an older truck, a flatbed track, anything like that, as well as newer trucks as well. more
