Trailer disc brake kit includes 2 assemblies with Dacromet-plated rotors, calipers and mounting brackets. Assemblies fit 7,000-lb axles and 16" and larger wheels. The 13" rotor features an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern.

Today, we're going to review Part Number K2R712DAC. This is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit with the 13 inch rotor, the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern with the Dacromet finish for 7,000 pound axles. Now, these brake assemblies will make it easier to change from an idler axle to a disc brake axle. Basically, when you change the disc brakes, they'll be a little better performance than drum brakes.… see more >
