Question:
Hi, Im interested in getting a trailer hitch and 2-mtnbike rack for my 2004 honda s2000. would you recommend the curt hitch and which model? similarly, which of the bike racks do you recommend? the swagman platform racks look interesting, which models do you recommend and why?

The one and only trailer hitch recommended for your 2004 Honda S2000 is the Curt # C11198. It's a bolt-on installation so no welding is necessary. This Curt trailer hitch has a Class-I rating and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. It also has a maximum towing weight of 2,000 pounds and tongue weight of 200 pounds. Always check your owners manual to obtain the towing capacity and tongue weight maximum.
Please note that all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt. The stabilizing straps # 18050 will attached to the upright bar of the bike rack.
The hitch bike rack I would go with is the Let's Go Aero Neo2, # B01748, and is a 2 bike carrier. The support arms are a sturdy steel construction, yet the bike rack is very lightweight at just 20 lbs.
If you don't have a receiver lock, the one I recommend is the # 63232 and the Cable Lock # e98891 to deter theft of your equipment.
I have included a couple FAQ's and video reviews for you too.
